At least that guarantees playing time for Nuss preventing him from leaving
Nuss and Daniels are the guys, let's ride!

The only way Nuss is staying is if he is named the starter. Otherwise, he is flying the coop and i wouldn't blame him.

Then if BK lets that happen, he will end up with a ton of egg on his face for letting the best QB since Joe Burrow slip through his fingers.
Garrett Nussmeier for offense
Greg Penn for defense.

Hell yeah!

What are you specifically looking for out of this team week 1

I want to see GN with his elite arm talent together with LSU's very talented receivers carve up Florida State's defense like a Christmas Turkey.

Why Would You Want To Start A Reddhirt Freshman

Easy because what GN lacks in game experience at the college level, he more than makes up for in talent.

Not to mention that for all his life, Nuss has been coached up by his NFL QB coach father who has imparted on his son all of his knowledge, experience, and wisdom, and in which is infinitely more valuable relative to the very lame experience of JD, which reveals that in his third season as a starer no less, he only threw a measly 10 TD passes together with 10 interceptions.
With Nuss at the helm. 10 & 2 or better.

Footwork is a work in progress, hasn’t mastered the skill yet…

Meaning, of course, that he is still not accurate enough at least where Denbrock is concerned.
There will only be one scenario that plays out out. Nuss will be the starter. As it's not even close. He is a much better QB relative to Daniels.

He just didn't get a chance to show us what he can do this past week, to his and Brian Kelly's disappointment, but he will in next Wednesday's scrimmage.
Daniels is not going to be the starter. Wait until Wednesday's scrimmage and then watch Nuss separate himself from Daniels. Nuss will inevitably be the starter.

As Daniels is not in Nuss' league. It's not even close.

No i'm getting them from literally every practice report there is

No, you got those bogus stats from Blake Ruffino, the biggest Jayden Daniels fanatic on the Internet.

I don't care about Nuss anymore than you are totally obsessed by Jayden Daniels.

He’s gonna redshirt for sure

But what if we need him to play in the meaningless bowl game?

And Daniels threw for 17

In the SEC, a measly 17 TDs in a season would put him dead last by a very wide margin.

According to reports Jayden was much more accurate Thursday and went 10-12 In 11 on 11 action so yeah he may have improved a bit

You're obviously getting your stats from the biggest Jayden Daniels fanatic on the Internet.

Nonetheless, Jayden Daniels couldn't score a TD in the red zone even if his life depended on it. Why is that not covered by your stats? Do you think BK will name someone who is unable to score in the red zone the starter?

Moreover, most of his passes were for dinks and dunks.

I would too, but that statue, for all intents and purposes, is already out of the running. So that's a mute point.

And you are impressed with that? Seek mental help bud.

Daniels threw a whooping 10 TD’s last year, I’m impressed.

How many times did he score in the red zone in last Thursday's fall scrimmage? Oh that's right, he couldn't score in the red zone.

If Nuss can’t beat Daniels for the job it doesn’t matter if he enters the portal because Howard is going through take over almost certainly next season. This is probably a one year job unless Nuss proves to be really good.

Not going to happen buddy. Nuss is not only going to win the starting job in 2022, but he will retain the starting job for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Then subsequently it will be Howard's job for the next two seasons.

Daniels as a true freshman threw 17 touchdowns

How is 17 touchdowns so impressive? In the SEC, that would put him dead last by a very wide margin?

Meanwhile, what about his stats as a three year starter and in which is more years starting than most college QBs get to start of a measly 10 TD passes together with 10 INTs. I mean, the dude has done nothing but steadily regress as a college football QB each and every year.

Anybody who advocates for a piss poor QB as Jayden Daniels has proven himself to be over a three year period already to be named the starter at LSU in 2022 needs to get his head examined. Either that or they are a racist.

He obviously thought winning the starting job at LSU would be a cake walk, which is why he contacted Brian Kelly about playing for LSU. As he saw all he had to do was beat out a red shirt freshman and a perpetual statue in the pocket and the job would be his or so he thought.

However, he never anticipated that red shirt freshman was exponentially far better and far more talented than he is.
