Uhhh....a national championship AT LSU. Dude was elite here before. Good hire.
His BASE d is 3-4. Yes, he uses a 4-3 at times, as well as other formations as needed
WTH is with all of this 4-3 crap all of a sudden. I realize Aranda has left, but he ran a 3-4 base and recruiting has been based on that for three years now. How about waiting til the new DC is in place and we let him have a little input....
Or perhaps we have the knowledge, skills, time, and resources to own/restore classics if we want too.
Mine, not stock, is around 425. Time to get off my arse and do paint/interior. I’ve been lazy

I liked. Had enough of an old school King feel that I immediately reread The Talisman....now a few chapters into Black House.
Tick Tock by Koontz.....extremely fast paced and I read it cover to cover in one sitting.
And why, pray tell do we have those laws and entities? That is not even mentioning 40 hour work weeks, paid vacations, paid sick days, paid holidays, etc, etc....
I’ll give you a clue.... It’s because of unions....
I played for Woody Boyles when he was there. Graduated in 84.
Shawshank and Green Mile were, by far, the most true to the books. It, Pet Cemetery, and The Stand were good but I was really disappointed in all they omitted for The Stand mini series.
I can't believe this went 3 pages with no mention of McClintock.... anything John Wayne or Clint Eastwood did is worth a watch.

1.go buy a crate and introduce the dog to it.
2. Go to leerburg.com and spend a few hours reading about establishing pack order.
3. Apply what you read there and enjoy a dog that respects you as it's leader and does what/when you want.
4.If unwilling/unable to devote a couple of hours, minimum, daily, to the dog, take the dog back so they can place it in a home that can.

So a Pitt Bull and an American Staffordshire Terrier ARE the same breed??? Lots of kennels and rescues like to throw that name out there to sway people toward the dog? They look the same to me??

Yes and no. Petey was the foundation dog for AKC recognizing American Staffordshire Terriers...AKC bred strictly for confirmation to the size standard, temperment. They selectively bred dogs that were less 'game'.

American Pitbull Terriers were bred for that 'gameness', that tenacity... Those made the best fighters. Those were, however, rarely people aggressive. What handler would want to fight a pit that is prone to bite him when he stepped in?

Today you can find many examples of Amstaffs in the AKC to also be recognized by UDBA as American Pitbull Terriers. Akc doesn't recognize the UDBA dogs.

There is a lot of solid info on these dogs out there and if one looks instead of believing the media hype they would see a different animal. Ask your vet how many Pits have shown him aggression vs any other breed you choose. Vets know.

You are right in saying the breed has been demonized. The media has been over the top in dog attacks over the past 10-15 years. Every dog attack is assumed by them to be pits. I have seen reports referencing pit bull attacks that show dogs that clearly are not pits. The issue isn't the breed. There is an enormous amount of incorrect identification of attacking dogs and there has been a lot of crossbreeding over the past 20 years or so by folks wanting bigger examples of pits.

I have owned and raised pits/Amstaffs for over 30 years now and I have only had one that I didn't trust 100%. He was a pit/American bulldog cross....weighed 110 lbs....truth is, he wasn't a true pit bull.

Yes, pits are naturally aggressive.....towards other dogs or animals in their turf, not people. They are, after all, terriers. The key to having a well balanced, trustworthy dog is on the other end of the leash, regardless of the dogs breed. One has to become their dogs' leader or the dog will try to lead. It's their nature as pack animals, no matter the breed.

Because the very first dog recognized as an American Staffordshire Terrier was Petey, from the Little Rascals, in 1936 or so....Petey was an American Pitbull Terrier.
