I can’t wait to kick his arse every year with all of this trolling/teasing/tweeting. It’s just fuel. Ole Miss has always been irrelevant. I’m indifferent to them. We expect to beat them every year and we should. Sure, they’re on a nice little run. But they’re still Ole Miss and they will always be Ole Miss. If he stays, he clearly doesn’t realize that. But he will. They will never be us. And every time we play them, it will be personal. The hate will run deep. I hope he comes here but I will truly, look forward to playing them every year if he doesn’t come. And I hope we run it up every damn time.

Jimmy Sexton is Franklin’s agent. It could be that Franklin was waiting for confirmation that the LSU job was definitely not going to be available before accepting the Virginia Tech offer

The only thing I’m skeptical about is the son enrolling after Thanksgiving break. That’s a little hard to believe…

I’d like to think that it is something along the lines of… “the last 4 coaches have not been able to win at Florida for whatever reason…and ORGERON was able to win one at LSU for Christ’s sake”.

You can interpret it both ways… It could also very easily mean that he can’t worry about what the people in Oxford think and that he has to make the best decision for himself…

Putting aside the personal feelings because he apparently shunned us last time… would you prefer Drinkwitz over Riley? I personally would not and I think Riley and Baker could be an interesting offensive/defensive combo…
I would take Lincoln Riley over a lot of other names being mentioned outside of Kiffin.

1) We are not promoting another interim to head coach. We JUST did that and ultimately fired the guy
2) Sumrall just got his arse kicked by UTSA and will probably lose again this weekend…also…if you have heard him in a press conference…he is not the guy
