What! No hurricane! Let’s go with the COVID excuse!
Career college stats for Jordan Rodgers - 4,063 passing yards and 24 touchdown passes (only played 2 seasons).

Joe in 11 games - 4014 yards and 41 TDs.

Who’s check down chuck?

Got back last night from a great weekend in Tusca-LOSE-a. 4 Tigah fans flying into MEM Friday from South Carolina. No real football left in Columbia and Clemson is playing another HS team. We are staying in Hernando. Where do LSU fans tailgate outside the Grove? Thanks. Geaux Tigers!
The Waddle run have been "loud" (not really) but I have never heard a stadium so quiet after the back-to-back LSU TDs right before half time. BD Funeral Home quiet.
The "Bases Loaded" option on espn3 is great! Watch it after the LSU game until about midnight. Almost moved too fast switching from game to game. It's like the red zone on the nfl ticket.
Living in SC espn3 has been great for us. Yes the quality we receive is bad from time to time and it freezes up sometimes but 95% of the time it is good. Asus and Lenovo laptops.
The commentor for the LSU game was great if you were a 12 year old who loved and played baseball. The comment I liked is when he said that Katz didn't look like a power hitting first baseman for his pro career chances. He had just pounded a 420' homer to center. The commentator could have talked half as much and been better.
Geaux Tigers!
Just curious - How many OL coaches are OC/play callers in the FBS?
Bo Wallace yells "Hotty Tottie" to 3-year old little girls.
Bo Wallace wished he could spell his name Beaux. No wait, Bo Wallace wished he could just spell. :wah:

We made the 2 previous LSU-USCe games in BR. Close friend of family getting married today - damn gamecock fan. At least we can leave the reception early and park it in front of the tube. I like listening to Heath but he can't hide his Florida background. Monday could be a great day for Tiger fans in SC or ... (I won't go there).
Close. My wife and I attended LSU. Moved to SC in '84. Both our kids graduated from USCe. I work as a consultant to USCe construction projects. This has been an interesting week.

Comparison - LSU has negatigers. USCe has Pessimisticgamecocks. Even with a great team, cock fans still think the other shoe is going to drop. (I Hope today in BR).
Both campuses are nice. A lot of new construction. Campuses connected to capital cities and influenced by politics.
Students are similar- study hard, party harder.
Sports programs are similar especially analogy of successful baseball teams leading to successful football programs.
One difference - LSU fans care little about basketball. USCe fans still dream about ACC/ McGuire days and hope to return to glory one day.
BTW, my wife and I have converted both our kids, their spouses and our grandchildren to LSU. Geaux Tigers!

USCe Big Plays Tonight

I'm a tiger fan in Columbia SC. Tidbit from gamecock bias talk radio -

"Based on Spurrier's past tendencies, look for two game changing plays tonight - wide receiver bubble screen lateral then pass down field. And the play action, tight end fly pattern. "

Somebody tell Chavis. (I know it's talk radio but just saying)
While watching a NBA game in Charlotte, the guy next to me asked "Is that player a SENIOR?". I moved to another seat.

I agree Neyland Stadium seat width is a NCAA minimum record, plus what makes it worse is there about 50 seats between aisles in upper deck, but the distance to the field is shorter than upper decks at Tiger Stadium. Not a bad view. We tailgated in a church parking lot across from Calhoun's up the hill from the river (tax deductible and had indoor restrooms). Calhoun's typically caters to the visiting fans every home game. Usually the visiting band and cheerleaders make an appearance a few hours before the game. Staying in a house around Piegon Forge or Seiverville is worth the extra time/drive. Overall, UT fans fairly friendly. Their band is good (but not quite as good as the GBfTL). If you don't know the song "Rocky Top" you will and it will be permanently imprinted on your brain after hearing it about 700 times (no lie).

re: Screen pass to Holliday

Speaking of Holliday, why does it seem like they always run him on a end around to the short time of the field? On the same note, why do they always seem to run the QB option to the short side - at MSU, JJ almost had to pitch the ball to the hot dog vendor in the third row.

re: Band at Washington Game

We have been to several games thru the years(i.e. Columbia, SC) where "only" the pep band has played. Never was disappointed. Even with the "noise" from the 75,000 UW "wine and cheese" crowd, the Golden Band from Tigerland will be ROCK the stadium.
