One has sidewalk fans, the other has T-shirt fans.
So, and it's an honest question, but what does this mean?
Do fans in the SEC not use sidewalks or wear t-shirts? Or is one or the other reserved for certain fans?

NU relied on the State of Texas for a lot of their players. NU does not have a recruiting area around their state.
Bama can get 4-5 star players in a radius of about 500 miles around T'town. Alabama sits between several states with top recruits (Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana)
As far as Nebraska and Alabama, there is no comparison.
I don't know about that. If anyone is comparing your team to mid-90s Nebraska, you should probably just take it as a compliment.

The difference between Alabama and Texas when it comes to college football is that Alabama has been way better than Texas at College Football.

Nailed this. I went to my first Red River Showdown two years ago and 90% of the people wearing Crimson looked like they took the day off from Wal Mart.
I'm not going to argue against this, but, dude, baton rouge is not a fashion forward town. lol. Is there somewhere other than wal-mart to buy clothes there?

Now those Texas girls in those sundresses with the hat and boots.
Agree to agree.

Football competitiveness doesn’t matter. Texas brings in the most cash.
That's exactly it.
Texas brings the cash. Oklahoma brings the football.
As a package, those two programs are super enticing to any conference considering expansion, which is going to happen.
The SEC is the most enticing conference in a post NIL ruling landscape. That's most likely is what is fueling this.
But the Big10 and PAC with OU and Texas in the fold isn't so bad either. There's better media markets in those leagues, but there isn't better college football markets in those league.
If the SEC passes, OU and Texas are going to look elsewhere. The Big 12 is done.
It's a package deal because, as free agents in the conference alignment game in a post NIL ruling world, they gain so much more leverage as a pair then they do individually.

Anyone who’s been around multiple sooner fans knows. They are completely unbearable. They legit think they are Bama
That's probably fair. Based on historical success, most OU fans justifiably feel the program is on par with Bama's.
I can see why an LSU fan would find that "unbearable".
Even after that 2004 NC game in NO, OU fans still respected Bama more as a program. Ouch.
And anyone who's been around multiple Tiger fans knows, they're drunk and disorderly.
