Here's an idea....
I'm going to ask my local Rep to introduce a bill requiring A&M to be readmitted to the Big 12... Their move to the SEC DID NOT pass the standards they are now requiring for the University of Texas, so it should immediately be voided and require legislative approval for a move to another conference.

If you think this hurts Abbots reelection chances next year, you have to be kidding. There is a reason a high profile Democrat has yet to announce he/she is running next year and the Democrats running off to DC and the resulting egg on their face PR fallout has virtually assured Abbot will win big next fall.
It's fantasy island like stuff thinking this is going to end up on the agenda for special session. Were Longhorn Alums/ Officials/ Fans, etc. calling for a special session when you aggy left? Nope. They said don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out.
