The SEC is absolutely thrilled with the idea of adding Texas and will bend over backwards to do it. Texas football will rise and every other sport will elevate the SEC. Texas won the AD Cup in 2020-21 (first school not named Stanford to do it in more than a decade). ...

The overarching message is clear. Texas isn't in the middle of the pack. It's at the top of the pecking order. The only downside is for A&M (obv) and LSU. Everyone else will enjoy it...
There are maybe two (2) SEC programs that Sankey would protect over Texas. The rest he would trade for Texas in a split second. Everyone should know that going forward -- before Arkansas or South Carolina or LSU fans want to share their thoughts. The pecking order has changed....

Lots of people letting me know that Texas needs to learn the "SEC way." The SEC will have to learn and adapt to the Texas way. We may not get 100 percent bargaining power like we do in the B12, but we will still be the top decision maker in this conference....
