Our money ?? might be running low. We have like 22 portal commits

It’s 2026.
Number of portal commits isn’t really relevant. It costs just as much money to retain talent.
Not trying to be overly pessimistic but DLine could be a weakness this year.

I know there are some highly rated freshman coming in but are any of the guys on the roster right now high end physical SEC caliber dline-men?

They both just post shite that they hope is going to happen and don’t have any more insight then the rest of the folks on these boards.

Ok. Probably could have included this message stating your preference in one of the other 70 relevant threads.

re: What about Doubs?

Olave Doubs Vele would be good when healthy.

You add a good RB, a TE that can block, and a couple OGs along with Doubs and you have yourself an offense.

Hearing Leavitt to Miami is HIGH PROBABILITY but not done deal yet.

The silent commitment to LSU is not true.
The entire country know LSU is willing to pay a QB a ton of money.

There are quite a few QBs out there who haven’t entered the portal yet that will have their agents reaching out LSU if they haven’t signed anybody in the next couple days.

No need to panic.

If LSU wants to contend -in addition to what you mentioned- they need a couple impact players on the d line
Not Raiola or Lagway.
Toss up between other 2. They can both run. Whichever one is the better passer.

Yes.

He ran the ball for 54 times for probably around 750-800yards.

And probably lost ~150 on 34 sacks.

He is a runner.

With college QBs you gotta take into context that rushing stats count sacks unlike nfl. He got sacked 35 times.

How is this not under duress?

Signing a contract extension during the season for a college athelete is “under duress”.

Jesus Christ some of yall are soft.
And if lsu re-signed players during the season there is zero chance this would be the reaction.
Deep down - Does Lane want Ole miss to win or lose?

I know he gets money if they win but my opinion is he wanted them to beat Tulane and now it’s got to the point that he really really wants them to lose so he is not labeled the coach that left the team that made it to the championship.
Everyone keep in mind portal rankings are only counting incoming transfers.

It’s not a net portal rating that accounts for out going.

Just saying!

re: SIAP- Kyle Parker?

He was the player I was most hoping would return from the portal. But they’ve already taken a few WRs and have more visiting so it seems that is not likely.
OK now post only his stats against non-ranked teams for the comparison.

Washington as a whole was up and down this year. Dealt with a lot of injuries (including the o line) and had a couple stinkers. But if you watched them play , it is obvious that dude is GOOD.
Delaine, Haulcy, B Brown, Moore , Gooden etc… were worthy of that ranking .

Team sucked because the offense didn’t know how to run the ball and the QB was bad.
I like them both.
If both are fully healthy Williams is a little more talented but Leavitt is way more of a dog.
With the injury concern on Leavitt I’d say you gotta lean Williams.
I’ve watched both. Will be pumped if we get either. But GOT to get one can’t fudge this up and lose out on both.
They had people in here saying “this portal class is going to feed families” and the night before the portal opened that it “felt like Christmas Eve”.

Lol
