You are handling it right. Listen to your attorney and follow what they say to the letter about the accommodations. If they aren't reasonable, you need to document why based on the essential functions of the job. We had an employee who requested reduced work hours (but full-time) pay because of her ...

She married someone with a title. He is rich, but he is not a royal Duke so he is a private citizen and so is she. Not sure why that is hard to understand....

Good for her. She is a private citizen with a husband and young children. This rumor was started by Megan and Harry after Megan got pissed because he was seated next to Rose at a dinner party that Megan wasn't invited to. The guy who made the comment (Giles Coren) is one of Megan's minions. He did r...

re: Would you do a long road trip vacation?

We did a chunk of driving the first day through places like Iowa, but we slowed down once we hit South Dakota. We hit places like the Corn Palace and Wall Drug. We stayed a couple of days in the Wall area and hit the Badlands and the Minuteman Middle site (very cool...had to get their early because...

Yes, road trips are the best! Our longest two have been a trip to the Grand Canyon following Route 66 and one to Mount Rushmore visiting all the tourist stops along the way. We rarely fly anywhere unless it's absolutely necessary.

re: Anybody ever build their little girl a DIY dollhouse?
Posted by SpaceCamp on 1/31/24 at 6:23 pm
We built one from a kit, but they were pretty young and it got destroyed. If you want a keepsake, I agree with the poster who said to wait a few years.
When my girls got older, we built another one for their American Girl dolls. It was basically a huge box with dividers and shelves to create the ...

Not interesting. Disney is currently bigger than Universal - 4 theme parks versus 2, 2 water parks versus 1, 25-ish hotels versus 8. Of course, they are making more money.
Bigger doesn't equate to being better though. I would much rather stay onsite at Universal. Even their value resorts are gr...

I disagree that Disney offers a better experience now, and I am someone who spent years going to Disney World and wouldn't step foot in a Universal park. Currently, Disney is overpriced, understaffed, and way to complicated. It is stressful to vacation there. You pretty much have to spend extra mo...

I am not an expert by any means, but I happen to know several people who have kids with Down Syndrome so I have learned a lot about it.
There is more than one type of Down Syndrome. One is called Mosaic Down Syndrome. Most people with this type have a normal IQ. People with the other types usuall...
