re: What year did you stop writing checks and balancing your checkbook?

I never stopped.
Someone used the term necrophilia instead of narcolepsy at work when referring to another coworker's condition. Not the same thing!
re: Did You/Do You Homeschool Your Kids?

No, we did move them to private school during 2020.
To add to this, I know a LOT of homeschoolers, and they run the gamut. Some do have overbearing parents who want to shelter their kids to an extreme degree. Some are neurodivergent or have health issues and homeschooling is a better option. Some want their children to have either a Christian education or a classical education and a homeschool co-op is much, much less expensive than private school. Some have kids who are extremely talented (some sports, some arts) so homeschooling allows them flexibility to pursue that passion.
So absolutely some homeschoolers we know are socially awkward, but many aren't. The two biggest co-ops near us run basically like a smaller private school. They have field trips, extracurricular activities, prom, and graduation. They parents are also required to teach and put in a lot of time to direct activities which isn't possible for us since we both work full-time.

Maybe they can find a sponsor.
The Nashville Allergy Bowl sponsored by Claritin would be a spring football game between two SEC schools in a scrimmage to close out the spring football season.
It would actually be better than the Music City Bowl.
The Nashville Allergy Bowl is a thing.
Someone took the "anything but a cup" challenge one step too far.
Neither of us like or trust our families to loan or give them money.
That is just depressing.
My in-laws "retired" with an almost paid off house and $1700 a month in social security. They could have had a comfortable retirement, but wasted every dime they got with very little to show for and would never listen to advice. It was frustrating to watch.

Asks the man complaining about women.

Just watching that video makes my knees weak. I watched the documentary of him climbing El Capitan. It is fascinating to me and so freaking scary.

I remember that so well. I was about the same age as her, and I was so sad when they announced she died.

Maybe I merged Jovan musk with Elan perfume.
I swear, I remember there being a cologne with a similar name when I was a kid so I was really confused for a long time.
Does anyone else remember Elan perfumes or am I just crazy?

Greg Locke left his wife for his church secretary so I don't think he is a moral compass for anyone.
Due to my personal convictions, I couldn't vote Democrat, and I find most leaders of the Democratic party to be reprehensible. That being said, no political party is going to fully align with my faith. A friend's dad once told me that sometimes you have to hold your nose and vote because there aren't a lot of great politicians. I imagine some Democratic voters are Christians who hold their nose and vote although I would imagine the amount has shrunk by a lot.
