In a normal year, I’d totally agree. But I think the playoff committee is gonna screw us and put a one loss team from East in over a 2 loss champ, especially if the champ got blown out at home by one of the 1-loss teams in East. I really hate it but I’m just focused on the fact we’re actually talking about this crap in BK first year after having 39 scholly players and a WR for QB in our bowl game less than 12 months ago. Just enjoy dammit!!

LSU went thru the gauntlet and have steadily improved.

My worst fear is that this situation plays out like the OG says, while you me and the rest of lsu fans think a 2 loss SEC champ goes to CFP. SEC champ is a GUARANTEED CFP berth right?? but somehow the selection committee looks at our two losses and decides to leave us out. Would piss me off to no end

After everything that kids been through with the ineligibility crap, I was happy to see him score that TD in such a big game.
Also think he helped establish the run and physicality last night. I can’t remember exactly when but he pull a pile of defenders up the field for a first down at one point.
Good for that kid for sticking it out and not pouting like some do now days

Now that the BCS doesn’t exist, it’s more possible for us to see two SEC teams TENN and UGA in the CFP (legitimately, not like when BS BCS put bama in there against LSU after sitting out the SECCG…)
Where it gets weird this year is if we beat bama, ole miss loses to bama—LSU reaches SECCG due to tie breaker in the west and we play TENN or UGA and win, UGA could have one loss and not get into playoffs.
