I get where you’re both coming from. Especially about living in Atlanta. I live in Auburn, went to Auburn, sent my kids to Auburn, and will retire in Auburn. I’m also a former season ticket holder. Key word is former. Those players do not support the university and the university does not support the fans. Eventually, you gotta look at it like you’re a sucker for paying to get reamed. The rah rah sis boom bah of college days are dead. It’s a corporation that sells a very expensive, yet terribly unreliable, product that survives off a dying nostalgia. There’s actually more loyalty and less drama in pro sports with all their prima donnas. Moving this game sealed it for me. I’m a fan of AU, buts it’s entirely non financial at this point. I’ll watch the games and listen to the cheers of the crowd from a couple miles away in the comfort of my covered patio.

I’m not sure why any Auburn fan would go to Atlanta. Don’t you ever get tired of being bent over by your school? That is the point I have reached. This should have been a home night game.

In my worldly experience, any college south of the mason dixon line, the southwest, and anything bordering the pacific, sans Alaska, are ranked 1a thru 1z. Long cold winters are harsh on American women and it shows when you travel to the mountain west, upper Midwest and northeast. They might look good when they’re 20, but it fades fast from that point on. jmo
I'm from South Alabama. My dad taught me to do it. He said he poured peanuts into his coke all the time when he was growing up on his family farm in Iowa back in the 1930s and 40s. It's not just a southern thing.

I worked very close with the legislature in Alabama. 25 years. I knew a lot of the ins and outs of Alabama politics. I saw a lot of good people, men and women, elected and come to Montgomery with fresh ideas and the courage to be the change they were elected to be. I rarely saw a good and decent person leave Montgomery. Didn’t matter what letter was after their name. Didn’t matter their gender, religion or race. They were all filthy when they went home. When a legislator served their first term, they were generally clean. Never, never, never trust anyone elected to more than 2 terms, and rarely trust the person running for their first re-election. I almost always vote against the incumbent in primaries for this reason. Term limits would be nice, but only a revolution could make that happen now. Our founding fathers failed us on this point.
I’m pretty sure I learned this in the Boy Scouts about 45 years ago. I can’t recall the instruction exactly but, when lost and walking a straight line, make a slight adjustment to the right every however many steps.
It was great in that it was our best season ever. It was disappointing in that we beat A&M in the sec tournament, but lost the big prize to them.

If that’s what democracy looks like, then the founding fathers knew what they were doing when they made the US a republic.
I wish it would be constitutional and make those nuts stay in their state or, at least, make them pay for the crap they voted for before escaping south.

In 1954, the only known meteorite to strike a person occurred in Sylacauga, Al. Ann Hodges was laying on her sofa when the meteorite crashed through the roof of her house, bounced off a few things and hit her leg. She survived.
It’s been a while since the dems got to spike a football. And it shows.

I came up in the generation of having Carter being the president, double digit inflation, oil embargo and 20% prime lending. Do you think I dreamed of owning a house and 2 cars? Every young person thinks they have it so bad. Like my dad told me, suck it up, buttercup. Be a man and everything will be okay. This is, STILL, the land of opportunity. Sorry if things won’t be handed to you on a silver platter. You’ll have to work to earn a living…just like every other man before you. This generation will be just fine if they remember they have balls and already won the lottery by being a citizen of the greatest country. That is not hyperbole.

2018 BMW M4 hardtop convertible with manual transmission. This is before bmw went nuts on the beaver teeth grill. For a little less, you could get the 2018 440i hardtop convertible.
Gotta keep the masses riled up about something. Always! It’s not like Congress does anything anyway. Why do I care that a couple pubs will lose their house seat in Wisconsin? What have those rinos done for me? We need turnover in Congress anyway.
