re: Taking Emergen-C vitamin C daily

To address a few of the topics… Risk/negatives: I would be cautious of the daily dose sitting on your teeth. The high acid content could be eroding your enamel. Make sure to brush after. Also, someone suggested eating your value of Vitamin C. Unless you are a fruitarian (look it up) that is not...

Unfortunately, I tore my bicep catching a falling lady about 2 weeks ago. Now I have decision to make of surgery or not. Has any here had the surgery and or opted out? My main hold backs are the down time/recovery (3months from lifting anything really) and cost. Cosmetically, is not a concern ...

Great job on getting back into running. 30 is definitely not too late to start running or start back. Slowly building up mileage and days running is a must. No more than 10% increase week too week is a standard rule. Starting off it is pretty hard to build mileage. Taking a day between for now is a ...

This is such a generalized question with little to no details. How many times a week, what duration, what intensity and heart rate? How about your actual diet? Generally speaking, a person can not exercise enough to combat a diet of trash and excess calories. Mostly, it is a formula of energy. If ...

What's up man! I would like that to make it comparable one would have to actually run the entire 50 with no more than breaks to refill water, pee etc. About a 12-13min mile is about as slow as you a person can actually run without changing the stride from a run to a race walk. Obviously, this is sti...

Hey Kevin, you're correct about people. I meant to say men because the women's world record is 324 set in Rio. I say this also, I am also one of those that will never be able to PC 315. I'm 138 most days. When I lifted alot my heaviest was 170 and also just wasn't powerful enough for super heavy wei...

It is very clear that maybe one or two of you that responded have ever run a 50 miler. The amount of people that have cleaned 315 is higher than the amount that have actually "ran" not walked for 50 straight miles. Now, is this due to more guys like to lift heavy or other variables, yes, probably so...
