Joe Burrow's legs ... I don't know if we'll see it this game, but the next close game Burrow runs/keeps on RPO's a lot more than expected.

In other words they finished no better than 3rd in the conference and still got in a 4 team national playoff. smh

I don't think they should be in it, if you can't win your conference you shouldn't get a chance for the NC ... that being said, Alabama set the precedent, since they've already cashed in on mulligans everyone else gets them too. Myself, I'm for a power 5 conf. champion + wildcard playoff, but the wild card would have to be an independent or conf. champion themselves.

It doesn't matter how WE see it, it matters how recruits see it, and their families. I'm sure it won't matter to some but I'm just as sure it will to others... no matter the intent. An unforced error for sure.

They need to get the bias out of the system, or as much as possible ... the way it is now is if a team passes the "eye" test then they can get in over a conference champion whether they've earned it or not. Just because a team has better players doesn't mean they play better as a team (Boise St Vs Oklahoma 2007). No way should you have "wild cards" with only 4 teams getting in.
