MVB made more plays today - 3 or 4, than Nuss made all season. Yes, we're still a bad team. Nonetheless, we got a win!~
Not sure what you saw but other than a few throws on the run and the big run where he looked about as fast as me, he is not the savior nor is he marginally better than Nuss.
I don't understand why people can't fathom just how poorly coached this o-line is. The QB is not the sole reason this season fell apart. Play calling, sub-par coaching and wxecution of this supposed high talent o-line is what collapsed this season.
All of that said, I hope he stays and develops into a quality starting SEC QB.

He accomplished more in one half than Nuss has all year. Sure there is a clearance jersey of his he'll sign for you
You're right. That 3 points puts him over the top!
quote:
Nuss has sucked all year but keep simping for him
Right. Keep simping for this Oline and VanBuren. The simpleton usually plays armchair QB and loves the back-up. All the while ignoring the truth that we have the absolute worst line i n the SEC.

Hmmmm. It's almost like the O-line is the problem. Naahhh. It's definitely Nuss.

If VB plays the whole game, I think LSU would have won.
You're a moron then. Burrow could be back there and he would look inept with this play calling and Oline.

VanBuren is soooo much more athletic!

User name checks out
Mac Brown?
Perfect description.

We need him through the end of the season.
Do we though?
What's the point then? You think coaching these players is the same as coaching a team full of potential NFL talent?

Watching some of this and this is nowhere even close to sec level football.
No shite? How long did it take you to realize you're watching the AAC and not the SEC?
Lane will probably be in the SEC Championship game this year. So he'll be ahead if Kelly when he makes the playoffs.

We didn't even interview him in 2021 though, he might be salty about it
Spurrier 2.0 if UF nabs him?

Why couldn't he do that at Dunham?
NIL has fricked CFB so much that the guy with probably the largest NIL (top 3 for sure) budget to work with wants out.
Worst offensive line in the SEC and you think it's the QB.

Arm talent alone won’t cut it in the NFL
I don't disagree but I was commenting on the statement that he can't push the ball 35 yards down field. My point was when healthy, he has one of the top arms in college football.
quote:
HUH? Nuss can barely get the ball 35 yards down the field. His weakest attribute is deep passes and Daniel’s best is his deep ball, what do you guys watch where you come to these conclusions lol
Do you not pay attention to the fact that he has been injured all year. The guy has the stronger arm out of JB and JD. You can look at the past years and see that something is hindering him this year. If he can work on the deep ball accuracy when healthy, he had what the NFL is looking for.
