This year imo is a make or break year for Carr. If the Saints don’t make the playoffs this year then I think we start a major rebuild which all but guarantees he will never have a playoff win

Recruiting experts kept hinting at a potential DT grad transfer in the spring that would instantly boost this position. But not going to count chickens before they hatch. Even without any transfers I believe Davis will make the current guys serviceable.

The only shot, and that’s a long shot, of the loser of that game getting in is if the winner of that game wins the SEC championship game. That would mean that all teams in the west have 2 or more losses leaving the west completely out. The playoff committee loves the SEC but a lot would have to go wrong for other conferences for the loser to get in.

We win out then that would mean we beat every team in the West and automatically win the West. We wouldn’t have to rely on any team beating anybody and we still control our own destiny. But I’m putting down the crackpipe now because Joe Burrow doesn’t play for LSU anymore
