Stay in the CBD and ride the streetcars to uptown and explore magazine area. Go to the zoo if that is your thing.

And head into the QTR. Horse drawn tours are a good experience. Get a good cocktail and ride around seeing the city.

Around the lakes by campus. But not between Daryample and Highland. Mid City south of North Blvd. Old Goodwood and Broadmoor will all be fine.

Garden District and Mid City are the closest areas by campus with good food/coffee shops ect.

If the graduation is at LSP HQ then Broadmoor is right there. If it is at JESTC then you will be driving no matter where you stay.
Thank you for posting. I was curious myself!

Wish I was suprised a little that they failed.... but I am not.

Our State literally does not care about natural resources at all. Look at the bill protecting people from "eminent domain" for carbon capture that just failed as well :wah:
IDK, I’ve never had a bad experience at Willie’s. Can be crowded but in BR everything decent is crowded.

I’ve never went for lunch. Maybe it’s their B squad.
Willie's on Coursey for boiled crawfish, shrimp, crabs.

Can confirm, good table fair. Nail a back leg to a tree and skin down turning the skin and quills inside out. Be careful.

Took my neice and nephew to Redwoods when they were about 8 and 5.
They love climbing through the ferns, over logs, and chasing down banana slugs.

Elk can be found as well. Trinidad lighthouse and hike down to the beach could be on the way for you as well.

Don’t the triple tail hang out under those?

If you have the time take 299 or 36 East instead of all interstates. The Trinity mountains are beautiful. Don't let your gas get low in this stretch.

Cut through Chester and or Lake Almanor and get some Basque chorizo and other food in Susanville at a meat market. Tri tip and Lamb in the high desert; ranch country. This will let you drive across the mountains and see some great scenery as well. Seirra Valley by Loyalton is postcard worthy as are tons of other places on your drive. From there you can head South through Truckee and go around Tahoe. Most decent sized towns will have Breweries that make good beer.

Recreational Gator season

Will it get passed for the upcomming season? Allain's proposal for a bill adding 10,000 lotto tags went through without opposition.

If they ban feeding in the state will the price of a hunting lease go down drastically?
Right?!!

Or that you don't have to slow down on 12 when you head West over the Tchefuncta. You are not falling off the edge of the earth.
Roast Beef Poboy from Saia's with their onion rings.
Did the Rhine cruise from Amsterdam to Basel. Really great. We stayed two days before the start in Amsterdam and explored.

Good food on the ship that changes based on local fresh ingredients.
