re: Is Trump a socialist?

I have discussed this plan with some experts but I would change Social Security so when you register at birth an account is created with $10,000 deposit
When you work you pay back the $10,000 and once it is paid back you no longer pay into Social Security
If you die before age 55 or 60 all of that money revert back to the government. Once you reach that age, however, it becomes vested so you have that money that has accumulated for 60 years plus your 401(k) or other retirement and investments to live off of
Because of the available money you would no longer need Medicare or welfare at retirement
Further, that money would then be available to be passed down to the next generation on top of what they already have.
After about 30 years it becomes a non-cost to the government. The only problem with this program is it eliminates Congress from using the money to fund other things and borrowing from it because it would be a separate account for each citizen

Ultimately, given prior comments on another OP I seriously doubt there will be a trial on this issue with the potential ramifications of a jury find her guilty
She was offered the opportunity to just admit to what she did and she declined resulting in the grand jury indictment perhaps she is hoping until the end of Trump's term to be pardoned by the next Democrat president but something will come up that is my guess

Actually, isnt she in uniform telling active duty military to defy a presidential order.

I don't know how this works. I know they can handle themselves beautifully, but Lawd I don't want to see them jammed up for doing so.
If you want to be really disgusted at law-enforcement look at the highway patrol underneath a bridge being pelted and LAPD refusing to help
That is not federal versus state that is state employees watching other state employees be attacked after they're sworn duty to defend and protect
To be honest I wish the marines would treat it just like a military zone and just remove everybody by any means necessary. California has given up any high ground they ever had

Almost every single time you're obnoxious posting is so far beyond the pale
Are you truly trying to run a government based on polling rather than upholding the law
Coming from a pretend lawyer this is humorous at best and just unbelievably stupid at worst but that is typical for your 400,000 posts

For those of us around during Katrina the conservatives at the time agreed with this logic. Bush got a lot of criticism for not deploying the national guard and everyone blamed Blanco because they said Bush needed her authority to deploy the national guard.
Are you really too stupid to understand the difference?

I think trump has cooked the Republican Party
No resolution on Ukraine
Funding for Ukraine
Huge bill with pork spending
No doge cuts
No criminal action/ arrests
Messy executive orders allowing courts to handcuff
There are other issues - his success is illegal immigration but even that is moving slowly.
Congress will do nothing all summer and take long thanksgiving and Christmas breaks and then it's campaign season.
I'm disappointed that my hopes for a few things to be accomplished are going down the drain and the fear is nothing by election time and the further decline of the country.

I would refuse to provide or anything else to Ukraine and walk away based on this
Also, I cannot believe our new BBB has any money going to Ukraine
We are all being fed packs of lies as our government just continues to screw over the people

I hate to be "that guy" but it is an interesting dichotomy between the hoa rule to submit an application and the law that allows the pole and flag
I wonder the timeline between hoa docs and the law and also the new Florida laws in hoa
I also wonder why the guy refused to just submit the document or help from the elks
I hate hoa with a passion
