There was no mail in or early voting at the time the constitution was written. it was all in person voting on the day of the election.
I believe congress allowed for soldiers overseas to vote by ballot to be provided but otherwise, the only method authorized by the constitution is in person on the day of. Now, states have modified when to vote ie early voting but all votes must be cast on the day of the election as written in the constitution.
I do not believe that a mailed ballot not received on election day or before is a legal ballot. My ,.02

So, I am torn because I'm not sure where the line is and when it is crossed
If somebody wrote they were happy Hitler died I assume that's OK and the same for Stalin and how about the leader of Iran I assume that is OK
Perhaps somebody could tell me where the line is so I do not cross it being happy that somebody was dead.
I am certainly unhappy about the death of Chuck Norris but I assume some people might be happy
