That's like saying flagging a false start is penalizing the offense for beating the defense. Or a defender jumping early is being penalized for beating the offense.

That’s crazy. These flops are insane. USA hasn’t been bad compared to some of the matches. They need to tighten up everywhere. The casual watcher that wants to get into soccer cannot because it’s so fricking weak.

Exciting game, I don’t know much about soccer but can someone explain to me why Japan didn’t try to take it down to score after getting final possession? It seemed to me there was plenty of time to create one more attack.
