re: Can someone tell me about Andalusia, Al?

Nothing else going on in Andalusia besides the Christmas in Candyland! Never thought of Andalusia as a getaway location (unless hiding from the law, lol).

Wouldn’t a sentry posted every 100 yards and paid 50$ an ear be just as good!

A lot cheaper in Florida!
re: Testosterone pellets or injections???
Posted by rickyh_2 on 7/25/23 at 10:01 pm
I’ve been doing the pellets for about 4-5 years. Yes they are more expensive and insurance does not cover them. The first year I done injections, but my highs and lows were too much of a roller coaster. Once I started the pellets; mine testosterone leveled out with more of a long curve instead of a spike and fall like injections! Now, folks that do the injections weekly, may stay more leveled out than the once every two week crowd. My doctor that delivers the pellets monitors my blood annually; my family physician monitors my blood every 6 months. Quality of life is very important to me and since I started the pellets; my quality has grown. Now for the “you’re a fat as crows”. My “T” was very low; don’t know why; but I was not obese, a little heavy for 6’2” and 245; had a lil beer belly. Now 6’2” at 225 but muscle with a little fat. I’m 58 and will be 59 in a couple months. I will continue the pellets and enjoy life without the weekly/bi-weekly needle sticks and the knots that come with the needle pricks over time!

Not a lot of relief past Montgomery either. Most exit at Georgiana, Al and drive thru Andalusia on the way to Ft Walton/Destin areas. Traffic is a nightmare from the exit all the way to the beach from there. River Falls & Andalusia gets very congested! We try to avoid these areas at all cost if possible.

re: Help dealing with someone with Dementia

Have the doctor place him in a Senior Behavioral Unit so they can determine what drugs will work to settle him down. That or find an nursing home with a Dementia (Alzheimer’s) hall.

Got a Text from the nursing home my mother is in here in alabama. Here is the text: As you all are aware, Alabama is experiencing an extreme spike of COVID-19 cases. Covington County's current positivity rate is 22.3%. Unfortunately, Andalusia Manor is seeing an increase of VACCINATED staff that are testing positive for COVID-19. We continue to encourage residents, their loved ones, and staff to become vaccinated. If you are interested in getting the vaccine or have questions, please call the facility,

No they will maintain their relationship with the doctor who thinks for their self and alter treatment to try to cure the patient.
All these dumb fricks that will not at least try ivermectin, hydroxy and other drugs and regimens knowing damn well the drugs do work at a high percentage rate (just as good as the damn vaccines) will still be scratching their asses while their patients die on a vent and alone.
Nothing with this virus is a 100%, this we know. So try any damn thing but start it early. Frig the politics, your damn egos or any other reason. Treat the patients early with all meds available.

Captain obviously lacks testicular fortitude and job scared. OIM and Manager probably pushed the Captain to continue operations until too late. Capt should have told them to pound sand!

Thanks Tiger. Please don’t think I’m an anti vaccine person. I just feel it’s a personal choice and an individual’s decision and neither vax or no vax should be shamed or blamed for anything. I supported my sisters wish to be vaccinated and I sure wish she would have got the opportunity. This virus is real for sure. No doubting that. Stay safe!

Correct, my twin sister died of covid. But; while being prepped to be put on ECMO, they found her right ventricle and aortic heart valves were leaking back. The right ventricle is what supplies the blood to the lungs. They pulmonologist and heart doctor said this was probably why the covid attacked her so hard. A lot of other circumstances was involved. I miss her everyday and believe if her family doctor would have done his job better on annual visits or she had requested test since heat disease runs in our family this could have been prevented. She was 56 years old and she wanted the vaccine, but her age was not in the group that was able to get at that time. Her husband never left her side and I saw her the day before testing positive and helped her to the car for the trip to P’cola where she never came back. If the local walk in clinic had maybe treated her early instead of waiting on her family physician to prescribe her meds things may have been different as well. With her heart issues, the vaccine may have done her in. No one will know; but since I know of all the circumstances concerning her death from Covid; I’m good without the vaccine.

I personally know of 5 that I can think of off the top of my head, one being my twin sister. I certainly believe the virus is real; but no deaths have made me rethink my position as for masking or taking the vaccine. I will not do either. What I did do is do have a good health check with a Stress Test and an echocardiogram and chest X-rays. Take vitamins and try to maintain a good weight.
On another note two of the five that died I’m not sure if any pre-existing health problems; one was a 50 year old male nurse who appeared to be in great shape (appeared now) and the other a 63 year old female that I know nothing of her health condition.
