He was throwing meatballs in the first 3. Later in the game, Nebraska smoked some other pitches right at people. He got better, but the jury is still out. He recovered and competed. I'll give him that.

Facts remain, this isn't going to teach anyone a lesson about paying taxes. All it is going to do is raise the price of poker for LSU and the fans. Like others have said, donors will be grossing up for taxes to overcome what others can offer. Unless they change the rules, this isn't changing and we are only putting ourselves at a disadvantage by not being on the forefront. If you think this is about teaching kids/people about entitlement and paying their rightful taxes, you're fu(king stupid.

Have you considered just for a second that the people extremely close to you really enjoy the gravy train currently in D.C.? If I was sitting there, getting all the benefits of the job (even not to the extent of some), I might say the same since it benefitted me. This is exactly what is wrong with the culture in Washington. It's not about benefitting the American people first, it's about benefitting those directing funds...and then it's about manipulating the American people to make sure that continues. This is why the election was so telling...common people are tired of it.

Your "insiders" may not like Gaetz, but again, that's why everyone voted for change. We (and you apparently) voted to go in a different direction. Let the man who was voted in make that change, however he has to do it. Hurt a few feelings and gravy trains, I don't think anyone will give a damn down the road.

I've never watched a football game there, but did watch the CWS at a Tiger watching party at Shakertins on Noel Rd. Just south of Addison.

The desperation to remain in control of content and messaging is insane. I don't ever remember supposed news outlets campaigning and going after an individual like DJT. And yet, all he does is take bullets and keep fighting. I laughed the first time he said "fake news," but there has never been anything more truthful and prophetic.
