Only if they don’t think they can take Christian Laettner if he starts throwing elbows in the stands
Norte Dame hands down

+1 the service academies, especially Navy
At least the ones at Texas weren’t actually on campus or put up by the school.

Dogs in bronze would’ve been acceptable, but those...

The regular season championship is a more impressive feat in both baseball and basketball. While the previous poster who said that the basketball tournament is a good indicator that a team is coming together, the tournaments can be very fluky. With as much parity as there is in the SEC, the baseball tournament is a fairly brutal slog for the teams in the finals. Unless you’re a bubble team or worse, most baseball teams are probably better off exiting in the semifinals to rest up before Regionals.

Excluding the Dude,

1) Blue Bell - nice park, great atmosphere (but they should expand it)
2) Founders
2) Swayze
Mizzou for Texas, but tbh, in the last expansion, the SEC should’ve just traded the Big XII Arky for A&M and called it a day.
Here’s an article from the AJC which talks about, from the Georgia Tech perspective, about Bobby Dodd not scheduling State or Ole Miss when Tech was in the SEC.
Mississippi for Virginia Tech,
Mizzou for Texas

While I love TX the state, it is hard to be around folks who think it is the only state. Individually, texans are a good people, but as the size of the group swells, the ego multiplies exponentially.

As an expatriate Southerner among the Texans, in my experience, they’re easier to deal with inside the boundaries of Texas - it’s when they leave the state that they won’t shut up about it

With regard to OP’s question, Austin wins hands down. You can drive to College Station whenever State your team plays there, but it’s proximity to Houston is its only redeeming factor

Given that the Scott Stricklin came from MSU, he had enough of an idea about Don before hiring him that this will be considered Year Zero if the Gators struggle

Kick 6 - especially sweet since there was an Alabama fan group at the restaurant where I watched the game
