I chuckle every time a wrestling event is promoted during a legit sports event.
And its not even very entertaining anymore.
Maybe they need to bring back the midgets

That remains to be seen. What I read after the deal was made, was that Espn was basically giving YouTube back what the lost. They were not getting full access.

Im also pleading for Lane not to come to LSU.
Don't forget Tennessee
What sense does it make that a guy who is headed to the playoffs to compete for a National Championship leaves!?

Sounds like a good plan.
I used to frequent them and have nothing against them. I always had fun. A place for guys to hang out drinking and looking at attractive girls. Tip a few. Keep a few around your table to talk with. But my last trip (15 years ago?) soured me a bit, because many of the patrons were women. This was always a guys santuary.
As long as you go in with the right mindset. Go to the higher end, nicer clubs, not a shady one, located in a rough area. Know they are there to make money first. Don't overspend or get carried away thinking this one really likes you or that by spending more will get you more. Leave and head home without going overboard on cash, drinks and expectations.
If I was a younger man and still a drinker, I'd probably go visit one occasionally.

re: Is the NBA unwatchable?
Posted by CSinLC on 11/27/25 at 9:56 am to ColoradoCock
I loved the NBA back in the 80s. The game and its players have changed, though.
The players are more arrogant. Prima Donnas. Just out there, it seems, to put on a show for the fans.
And the crowds at the games are mostly celebrities and the wealthy, just having a night out and looking to be seen.
Players are bigger and more athletic. 7 footers as point guards are shooting 3 pointers.
Its become a 3 point contest. No feeding the ball down low then back out if covered.
Yes, there is lots of traveling and ball carrying that the refs let go.
Lots of women involved. As refs, calling games, reporters, even coaches.
Games seem a lot longer. I know they aren't but who can sit for a whole game game? Turn it on with about 4 or 5 minutes to go.
The Season seems to go on forever. Causing star players to take nights off. Long playoff series. In season tournaments.
All the social justice stuff is off putting. As long as they divide and separate themselves nothing will get better.
The league is mostly for black players - and foreign players. There, I said it. Even the commercials during games are mostly black themed. And what happened overseas in the last 30 years that all these great players started coming fom foreign countries?
All that being said, I'm trying to get back into watching. Have barely watched it or followed it for the past 15 years or so. But I've always been a baskeball fan, even though my friend circle is not. There are a lot of younger players coming up that are really talented.
So we'll see how that goes.

But we'll take the win! Geaux Cowboys!
vs George Washington W 92-86
vs Murray State W 73-60
vs Middle Tennessee W 72-62

Football is such a brutal game. These guys don’t rest long enough to heal. Plus We have football 7 days a week. Its saturated.
He is arrogant and egotistical. But he’s kinda right. The game is much more physical. So, shorten the season and make the playoffs series no more than 5 games instead of 7. No more back to back games

From a recent article:

Key Points
NBC will host Sunday Night Baseball, Wild Card Series, and other MLB events starting 2026.
ESPN gains MLB.tv control, exclusive 30-game package, and continues Little League World Series coverage.
Netflix adds World Baseball Classic, Opening Night, Home Run Derby, and Field of Dreams game.
quote:
FOX will also continue airing the All-Star Game and select regular season games, mostly on Saturdays.
Regular season games will also continue to air on TBS on Tuesday nights, and TBS will remain the home of League Championship Series and Division Series.
The Apple TV “Friday Night Baseball” series will also continue while MLB Network programming does not figure to change, either.
quote:
All this come as MLB seems to be ascending again in terms of popularity.
The 2025 World Series drew more than 50 million viewers in the United States, Canada and Japan, and MLB says the Dodgers’ dramatic win over the Blue Jays was the most-viewed in 33 years.
An average of 6.33 million Americans watched the postseason games, making it the most-watched in eight years, and MLB says viewership increased across all of its national television partners, locally on regional sports networks and streaming on MLB.TV.
