My team is really really good
Posted by NewYorkYankeeFan on 9/18/18 at 10:11 pm
14 years in this league. 12 team, really serious guys. I got Mahomes, Hunt, and Hill. (All in on the Chiefs.) mcCaffery Josh Gordon(hoping to trade) Dougy Baldwin, Tedd Ginn, and Robert woods. J reed at TE.
Sitting at 2-0. Looking to roll into the playoffs about 12-2 and take the 1200 easy.
Have fun in mediocrity losers.

Yankees vs Red Sox

Red Sox are better than us this season. They deserve the division and I’m not here to dispute any of that.
But. In a game that is increasingly reliant on the bullpen, the Sox don’t have a great group of set up men. Not sure if it means they could lose in the first round. But after watching them a ton this year I’m not convinced they have enough to win the World Series. Obviously the Astros got around it last year but the Sox don’t have the starting depth of a team like that.
Sox are great. But in a playoff series. I think they are really vulnerable.

It’s obvious that a ton of people haven’t seen Tennis in this thread lol. Her “cheating” was the equivalent of a batter standing out of the box too long and getting called out. Not a normal penalty assessed and obviously she was given far shorter rope than most male players.

Uber wats is just an unhappy uber driver grabbing a to go back with no one monitoring time. Waitr has someone checking your order the entire process. I’ve done both. Believe me. If both are offered, you should Waitr.

Incorrect. Drivers are trained to confirm contents of bag at rest..Rest staff is also trained to expect confirmation and comply. If it does not happen it's on the driver.
This is true. Except there are some restaurants that staple the bag making it more difficult to check, and if you do it has the look of someone digging through your food. The restaurant employees take it personal when you check their work and aren’t helpful.

Without reading this thread, I'll say this: Driving for waitr is apparently just like driving for uber. Possibly literally the same people. Just like uber will show them who is requesting to get picked up from where and brought to where, waitr will show them from where to where and how much food. That influences the tip they'll receive. From what I've read the only deliveries that make sense are large orders or ones that they can chain on their way with others. If drivers don't want to take your order, they just won't and it will sit. Basically from what I understand, don't use waitr unless it's a short common route from the restaurant or you have a fairly expensive order. That or you don't mind waiting for cold food.
Perhaps why you should read. This is not the case at all lol

Unless I am misunderstanding your quote she is absolutely full of shite. Not even close. For reference you can choose 2 payment methods. 5 dollars an hour plus tips or 2.50 a delivery plus tips. If you really busy your arse you make 3 delivery’s max an hour. So 30 dollars would mean she’s making 270 bucks in tips? Not at all how I’ve experienced.

So, I have worked for Uber,Lyft, and Waitr and can explain some of the confusion. The way Waitr works for drivers is as follows. There is an in person interview, but my day 30 people came and no one was vetted or turned down. Then there is a hour long orientation. Then once you’re driving, unlike uber or Lyft with Waitr you have to pick and stick to a schedule. Once you are on the clock and turn on the app you pick different orders to go pick up. Most of the time they are busy enough where you are assigned orders based on time waited. Honestly, I can only speak for the Baton Rouge branch, but it’s horribly managed. The communication about assignments take place in a 800+ person group me where side chat is frequent and insubordination is accepted. It’s an awful awful setup. When the company was sold I was suprised they didn’t fire the managers immediately. That being said there is definitely importantance placed on food protection. Hot bag usage is mandatory and you get a much better product than say Uber eats. When you order Waitr someone is monitoring your order to make sure it’s not too late and also there’s full time customer service. It’s booming, but I would never work there again. Hope that cleared the process up.

So, I am attempting to operate in good faith here and would appreciate some genuine responses.
To deconstruct a little, to get anywhere meaningful I think we have to accept three things.
1. The article is not completely made up by the NYT. The article was as they say written by a member of the Trump Admin.
2. The article was written by someone relatively high ranking. Basically, this includes anyone with direct access to the president or who is a peer with multiple officials with direct access. This seems to be necessarily true if you accept point 1. Unless the NYT is adding fraudulent information the author seems to have a high level of standing within the Admin.
3. Whoever wrote the article isn't outright lying. They disclose that they support much of the President's economic agenda and that they are happy with a lot of what he has achieved. If this is the case one wonders why they would take the risk of lying about all of the other accusations to the press.
To disclose my biases I am not a Trump voter or supporter. But I am not a total fan of the article either and have genuine concerns that there are these sort of factions and subversions of democratic will at the top levels of the federal government.
But my question is simple. If the above 3 points are true, are you not gravely concerned with the stability and fitness of this president.
No one is asking for President Hillary. A removal of Trump would mean President Pence.

Hows the MLB fandom on this site?

Hey folks. Just moved down to BR for college and my friend showed me this website. Noticed some high-quality Astros talk. Much MLB talk in general? Looking forward to checking out some of the Southern MLB teams and stadiums. Also hoping my Yanks can turn it around.
