That's a high bar youre setting for CBK.

My bad, Im w/ u. Didnt mean to downvote. :geauxtigers:
Going back to Larry Bird. If Whit is ok with it, then whats the problem? :geauxtigers:
Awesome! Keep us posted on his recruitment :geauxtigers:
Les Miles had built another juggernaut roster even with Joe piss ant Alleva undermining him at every opportunity in 2016. Brandon Harris had looked terrific in the spring and in fall camp.

Harris proved to be a practice player that couldnt make it happen when the lights came on and they ran into a very good Wisconsin team in Green Bay.

LSU scored the winning TD at Auburn and how that game ended was sickening, Ethan Pocic and the entire offense was ready to execute and the ball was snapped when the referee gave the ok. Both teams and the refs played that last snap full throttle and Etling made the throw.

Coach Miles wouldnt have lost to a 2 TD dog Florida in Tiger Stadium.

Several high draft picks came back to play for Les and a championship that season.

That 2016 team with CLM and Etling wouldve been favored against anyone not in the top 2-3 on a neutral field at season's end.

Coach Miles is the most accomplished head coach at LSU in the history of the program. Kelly may have won more games but he's not the most accomplished coach at ND.

They play alot more games now than they used to,
Not much of a comparison with Coach Miles. One of the all time player development coaches.
If Saban hadnt went to Bama. Miles and LSU wouldve went on one of the greatest runs the sport has seen. Miles instilled a confidence into his players that they were always going to find a way to win the game. A very rare trait for a head coach.

Kelly's run at ND was good but alot of coaches wouldve been able to accomplish similar results there. You have to win the big games and especially game 1 to be in Miles' neighborhood. :The special teams and defense from 2 years ago and whatever that was on defense last year isnt going to get it done in the SEC. :geauxtigers:

He really really was a poor poor coach.

Ok keep telling yourself this.

After 12 years in charge of anything your record is what you are.

:geauxtigers:
For not punching Joe pis ant Alleva in the nose after the A&M game.
Takes on mighty UNC at their place. Perfect thru 3, setting the tone that today will be different This is one of the all time clutch performances from a #3 starter. 5 2/3 innings allowing Coach Johnson several options for tomorrow.

What a performance. :geauxtigers:
I'm guilty. Big fan of the thatcha. :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:
When big Ralph Norwood (RIP) got injured, the game changed. It was a classic. I had just started a new job and watched it with an Ohio St grad. I think we were both ok with a tie because neither one of us could afford to pay the bet. :geauxtigers:
Polian was a prick, but he could evaluate talent. Last year remains a head scratcher without him. :geauxtigers:
Kelly shouldve found his guy(s) much sooner.
See Lane Kiffen

Another head scratcher from Kelly to go along with horrible Special teams play 2 years ago and missing on almost every transfer and fielding one of the worst defenses in program history last year.

That said, I still believe Kelly is one of the best in the business and thank goodness LSU has a grown-up navigating this beast in today's lunacy of college football.

But, to pay any of these DT's their demands wouldve been a mistake in the long run.
Its unfortunate that OU landed Williams because the Tigers play them this year, He's a really good player. But OU will regret this in the longer term imo; especially if it doesnt work out as planned. Injury etc...

It simply wasnt worth it, imo. Sometimes you have to grin and bear it, Like walking away from that dream house or the new job offer.

The Tigers need Guillory and Paz to stay healthy and work their tails off.
Still believing in the 2024 Tigers.

Josh is a talent, not just a grinder. I dont understand his lack of playing last year when he was healthy. He makes plays that move the chains. It wont surprise me at all if he wins the starting spot next year.

Pat Pete, especially as a lock down corner and Kevin Minter come to mind. :geauxtigers:
