If you are talking about LSU the answer is Les Miles in the recent past. Further back was not the style of winning College football.

Is that it has shown that the archaic type of football that Les loved is dead. LSU will never go back to that style again. Joe Brady will eventually leave, but there are other like-minded coaches there who can continue this success. The bigger question mark is finding QBs that will fit into the system. The success of this season should allow LSU to find, sign, and develop those special kids. The next big thing in College Football will be trying to find a way to stop this monster.
Man I would really be surprised if that happens. With so little experience someone would be putting their job on the line. With continued success maybe a year or two away.
NOoooo. I will always root for an SEC team no matter what. Why because I believe that it helps LSU in the long run. I want the SEC to be the most dominant conference in college football. You get better bowl games, and maybe sometimes the second team in the playoffs.

I hate to complain about the offense, but man. Those short-yardage plays that take so long to develope because of the QB reads during the handoff are killing me. Short yardage plays need to hit the line quickly and up and over.
