McMath will be an absolute stud. Although Chase leaving sucks, I do not expect there to be much of a gap at all
re: Would LSU have been better starting Myles Brennan vs Danny Etling in 2017?

I agree he’s wasn’t a bad QB, but he would constantly stare down his receivers.
To be fair, we were still running two receiver routes so there wasn't many options to look at

As far as favorite unforgettable moments for me it would be,
2007 Flynn to Byrd vs. Auburn, happened right in front of me and my dad and it was a moment I will never forget.
Also 2010 vs. West Virginia and the Peterson return

No reason for LSU to lose to an 0-3 Nicholls team. Midweek game or not.

Could not BUY a three. Pitiful.
I understand that selling out would be hard and there is no point in more seats.
But you will never convince me that it wouldn’t be bad arse to have the NEZ closed up! It would be insane!!

re: How did Ingram play in the Florida game?

He subbed in and out. I think being able to put him in and give guys breaks is a huge reason we didn't allow any sacks, depth was huge for us up front.

I think we are still trying to put our best players in space and we are testing a few things out. Especially when guys go down, like when Fulton got hurt and Ward came in we switched a few things up to help the younger guys. I think we have the luxury to try these things with an offense that scores like ours. We used to have to get a stop almost every drive in order to win. Now that's not the case.
If I had to guess this might be another one of the games O choses to sit Charles and Divinity out for the suspension. Much rather them sit against Vandy than Florida, Auburn, Bama, etc.
Agreed. Matt Mascona was freaking out saying we didn't have great depth based on that ONE catch he "gave up" against Texas but he was in great position it was just a good catch and throw. 9 times out of 10 that pass is broken up
Too bad Florida can't even sell out most Friday nights....

I want them in mikes cage. But even that has A/C

It doesn't make sense though. Divinity is the CLEAR replacement for Chaisson, IMO.
I see what your saying but we are all hoping this is a game we can get the starters out and let the backups and young bucks get some work. I think he’s just referring to this week not the rest of the year.

counter it with RPOs and 3 step drops and quick passes
This is also a good point. Pressure is taken off the O-line substantially bc they won’t have to hold the d-line for forever like in the past. Everything is quick and makes the lines job easier!
Having Charles back is huge. Should definitely boost confidence and our ability to protect the edge on both sides. With that being said I didn’t think Traore did a bad job! He managed.
