Hard disagree. He was maybe? The best player on the team, but was just a cog in a wheel. Meanwhile Messi dragged an aging mediocre team to the final. Replace Rodri I think Spain win the World Cup. Replace Messi they don’t get out of rd of 32

England couldn’t beat Argentina. So naturally they would have done better. Kinda like the all powerful France attack that hardly sniffed a chance as well.

All this game proved is that even at 39 years old he was capable of dragging a mediocre Argentina team to a final. Not sure what more you want from him.
Peles team won a World Cup without him. Like the entire tournament. Do you honestly believe this Argentina team could have made it past the round of 32 without Messi?

I’m sorry if your position is that the final Egypt chance should have been a penalty and was the same and the one called back for Argentina then you are a fool. The Egyptian defender did not contact the ball, did not win possession, and contacted/impeded the attacker and immediately led to a breakaway goal. Similar to a fumble leading to a touchdown. If Egypt had slowed play and ran a true possession set then of course it would have been ridiculous to go to VAR. on the other hand the 2nd was a clear possession won and ball contact by the defender and the contact was incidental at best and the attacker clearly went down to try and win a penalty and had nothing to do with the contact.

Your right. He is a cut above Marino. Joe has a better completion percentage, yards per attempt, td to int ratio, passer rating, and almost has as many playoff wins in less than half the years.

I mean if you are telling me that the government can supply me an app with a digital copy of my license, birth certificate, and social then sign me up. They already have this data and it’s harder than shot to get if you lose the flimsy paper copy you get for life. If the trade off is I get fair elections that only Americans vote in I’m so down.
Just take over kharg island, forcible open the strait, and profit from all the oil and tell iran to f off. They can do nothing about it and neither can anyone else. Now you control Venezuelan oil, iran oil, and the US supply. Congrats china, russia, eu, etc we now run the entire world.

It’s obviously was never gonna be some high budget palooza but it’s good songs, sung well, with real instruments. So I like it way more.
