Are you asking so you can spit on us?? That's what's i heard y'all do to the visiting fan base.
Sports Illustrated thinks so, listing Fitzgerald as one of the 5 contenders:
5. Nick Fitzgerald, Mississippi State, QB: Dan Mullen developed a heck of a QB in Dak Prescott and he’s doing it again with the 6’5”, 230-pound junior. Fitzgerald was fantastic as the Bulldogs walloped a good LSU defense in a 37-7 blowout. Fitzgerald doesn’t put up the gaudy passing stats that some college quarterbacks do, but it’s his total game that is so impressive. He’s thrown for seven TDs (and just one INT), but the really eye-opening stuff is when you add in five rushing TDs and 240 yards on the ground.

After the shite Sumlin is going through - having a regent publicly calling for his firing and receiving racist death threats - there is no way in hell he would take that job!! NO WAY!!
The only other SEC job that Mullen would take apart from maybe Alabama (which of course ain't happening) would be Florida.
But now that Ole Miss is screwed recruiting should pick up and he would be a fool to leave without staying at least another 3 years to see how high he can get the program, especially with the state of SEC West programs, except of course Alabama.

No, what's not credible is an Ole Miss Alumni reporting Mississippi State info he got from an Ole Miss attorney less than two weeks before 9/11
