Old guy (me): LSU is a brand, wear "the" uniform. Their are only a few that comes to mind besides us...Alabama, Texas, Penn State. Wear the damn uniform.
Now i understand the players like to change up & it sure looks like Lane likes alternate uniforms.
Bottom line, I don't care if they wear "pinks & greens", as long as they win!

Back in the '90's, I made the trip to the purple pants game. Great trip. Ugly uniforms. Keenland, the Bourbon Trail. I agree with the guys who are telling you to get off the beaten path around the horse farms. Beautiful. People were nice, but parking was PIA.

Yes, except for the freshman ROTC game when we wore pajamas, we dressed in coat & tie.

FYI, we didn't dust...we added more salt...it's a chemical thing. Raised the seasoning leval, but not the "heat"...even the yankies from North Carolina liked them.

Not to put words in the OP's post, but I think he is saying we need to get baseball a greater percentage of the base $. Jay did great with the pre House $. It was a level playing field. Post House, i.e., the $20.5M), schools like Arkansas, USCe, State & maybe more are giving a greater % to baseball.
If you are saying that LSU should be a football, MBB & WBB "school", OK, that is your position. I think our history is we are a football & baseball school.

I agree with most of you above - this is a message.
Can't understand the percent share where Jay has to get some part of 5% with track, gymnastics, etc. He sells out the Box & if they add more seats, expecially suites, he would sell those out too. I know there is only so much $ in the $20.5M pot, but I look at LSU as a football than baseball sports school.

Thanks for website. I usually agree with those who say never dust, but when you have a mixed gang of local's & family & wives who are not from here, how do you stop the bitching, even when we boil three or four pots. Seems good to try middle of the road for the yankees & add dust for the rest of us.

First, Jayden won the throphy...5 is retired if 9 & 20 is retired.
