Understand this if another man knocks you down what are you going to do if you can get up.
Russian masculinity says knock the other man on his arse as soon as you get back up.
This is why Putin had a macho image in the early 2000's. Russia's plan was way before Hillary/ Trump.

My issue with Trump is his actions around the globe have put the US at a disadvantage.
Would Hillary have done the same I have no idea but according to your link Putin didn't think so.
For sure Putin wants a strong Russia and I believed that was Russia's right for awhile but Russia believes they have a sphere of influence in a lot of the world and this idea pretty much comes in conflict with what the United States wants in the world
This has nothing to do with politics

Russia US relations really hit a snag over Serbia
Yes it was a Clinton in the White House during Kosovo

The US did not allow Russia to aid their longtime ally.
Russia/ Serbia is somewhat similar to US/ UK in a way

US policy after the fall of the Soviet Union came from the first Bush though. Clinton pretty much followed the path that Bush started
Understand this is all conjecture as I have not throughly researched my ideas or will I ever be able to but if certain people are correct and Gorbachev was infant controlled by the CIA in the 80's wouldn't this make Putin aware of the truth.
This is where I may lose some but if Putin was aware of Gorbachev being controlled by the Americans wouldn't Putin attempt to extract revenge for the U.S destroying the Soviet Union therefore Russia. Putin may not be a communist nor a Marxist but he is still a Russian. Russia was completely humiliated during the 90's. People in this country do not understand Russian nationalism
nor masculinity. United States pretty much cut off their balls and made them feel weak again.
Let's get at today. Trump may not himself be a Russian spy but could it be possible at all that people around Trump are taking orders from Putin and the Kremlin. This would be the way Russia would attempt to payback the US and exact revenge.

I am not asking you to believe any of this but what I am asking you to do is to at least put an effort into studying Russia and finding out what Russia is.
Russia is a wonderful country but it is a very insecure country that has been overran throughout history and always has had the ability to recreate itself and rise from the ashes like the Phoenix
So like anyone in your state trying to better themselves she headed west
No Natalie Coughlin references

Another fine production of Berkeley

You made that post before mine

I am surprised I haven't seen the UK fans mentioned their 2015 team
Maybe they do not visit the more sports board.

Possibly one the best I have seen in college athletics so far.

You could include 1998 Duke as well
I do not think anyone thought UCONN was going to beat them. Pretty much the total opposite of what happen with Duke UNLV. I would give Duke UNLV the edge cause of the previous year. I have a feeling UNLV would win 9 out of the 10 played. I haven't heard if Coach K motivated that team throughout the season with that game if he did it sounds kinda Bo/Woodish.
This was what I was told at the heart of every CU fan you will find a Cornhusker, Sooner or Jayhawk.
On the outside you will not because CU and the state of Colorado have grown up out of the Big 8.
They are like the kid who grew up in the farm town but visited his relatives in New York in the summer.
Sooner or later one of the cultures was going to become more dominant over the other.
With this I can say CU cares about football but in a totally different sort of way. So playing Nebraska is like playing who we used to be and this is why in the 80's we had to win. Today it is even more so.
When we play Nebraska in these upcoming years CU is going to pull out all the stops to give another Boulder Beatdown.
It is far from jealousy it is disgust
The state of Nebraska could have put their money into their university's academics but they did not and used football as a way to make their university look good.
I actually have pity for people in Nebraska because they deserve better.
I am glad to hear you are not from there as I thought most of their bandwagons fans have fallen off by now.
I do have to say take a trip to Nebraska and see what you are supporting. I am sure you live in a much nicer place than Nebraska.
Even Iowans look down at Nebraska. Des Moines seems like Paris next to Omaha.
Good for you if you need to feel better about yourself.
I am all for people gaining confidence in life
If you must gain this confidence through Nebraska football I must warn you that their better days have long passed them by.
At least you can remember the long ago days of being able to travel to Boulder and winning a few games. I bet a trip to Boulder was a life changing experience for someone from Nebraska. First taste of culture.
I guess your reading comprehension is as bad as Malachi's

You should join him for a beer at the tractor pull

I warn you though if you question the alternate universe of the Children of the Corn there will be consequences.
354 consecutive sellouts is not that impressive because behind Nebraska football what else does the state have.
I guess Triple A baseball and tractor pulls.

Have you been keeping up with the local Friday night tractor pulls. Heard it was a huge event in most of Nebraska
I say every former Big 8 university except for Iowa State has been better than Nebraska since 2001
at their peak even KU. All have except for KU and Mizzou won a conference championship since the Boulder Beatdown with exception of Nebraska and Iowa State.
Okie State 2011
OU
CU 2001
Kansas State 2003
We are speaking about currently not 25 years ago.
As of today June 2017 CU is coming off of a 10 win season and appearance in a conference championship game. What about Nebraska? Maybe it is Mike Riley. He may not have the talent there in Lincoln it is not Corvallis and all. That is horrible that someone can win at Oregon St and not Nebraska.

Who is next on the list of Nebraska coaching hires.
Maybe you can bring back old senile Tom to run some more of that old 1970's football
No one sits here and tries to act like Minnesota or Army is some unbelievable football program.
They are not anymore neither is Nebraska.

The funny thing is that once you remove football from Nebraska what do they have.
I guess their past to hold onto.

I am sure in places like Hastings, Grand Island and North Platte they will be speaking about how unbelievable that 95 team was, how classless CU is, how Texas robbed them of a second, and how OU stabbed them in back because of UT in 50 years
The Children of the Corn was coming into that game ranked #1 with the future Heisman trophy winner at QB.
They had already beaten the defending national champions OU
Yeah I am in the opinion the Nebraska mystique was beginning to be eroded prior to the game but to say that they were a shell of their former selves is nonsense.
After that game they lost the Rose Bowl then if it wasn't the first game of the next year it was the second game that Larry Johnson and Penn St destroyed Nebraska as well
There was no 5th down because the 4th down play wasn't even ran.
The referee did not change the down marker so the ball was spiked and another play was ran
If the play was ran on 4th down it would have resulted in the same touchdown.
Whatever you tell yourself. At the end of the day you only have the history you want to believe to make yourself feel better.
As of 2017 CU is coming off a PAC 12 South Championship while Nebraska has been in a 16 year period of mediocrity since the Boulder Beatdown. More importantly CU finally does not have to deal with the hayseeds from Lincoln smelling up their state and stadium. CU finally gets to rub shoulders with people who view college sports as they do and not a way to make a wasteland known as Nebraska known around the country.

I actually think the 2011 Green Bay Packers was a better team
I am over 30 slightly at 34 but that team was coming off a Super Bowl championship and started 13-0 or something maybe 14-0
Pepperdine is a small conservative private university. Plus their academics are not anywhere close to USC or UCLA

The problem with UCSB is the image they have created. Serious students would much rather attend UC Irvine, UC Davis or the two large UC's because they have a better image as a place for serious students. Nothing against UCSB but I have worked here in California for almost 17 years and I have seen how employers view UCSB compared to the other UC's.
