February is way more misses than hits. It will all be weather dependent and that time of year the strong fronts are still happening. Redfish are definitely on the menu, trout can be had but iffy, wahoo bite can be on fire.

It’s all theater. The politicians don’t have the balls to let food stamps run out. The chaos that would ensue would be epic . We’re talking some apocalyptic type shite. Personally I think we would be better off in the long run if it does happen.

I use the lem grinder to make sausage without the foot pedal. It’s not that difficult. Maybe the first link or so is a little less than perfect , you find a rhythm eventually.

I have the lem #8 and it’s plenty enough to do multiple deer. I used to do 2 grinds and now just use the small grind plate and run it once. No problems even if I don’t get all the silver skin. I like to vacuum pack flat so they stack nice and easy in the deep freeze.

Behind shrimp boats you’ll need lots of chum. If they are actively shrimping(moving), pull up pretty close behind them (avoiding the cables) and toss out a good amount of chum. Shut your engines down and float with the chum you just let out. Be looking for fish in your chum , once you spot them cont to feed them until they are around your boat. The goal is to catch tuna and not all the trash fish with them. Don’t put your bait in the water until you see the blackifin or yellowfin. Good luck

You can stock up on bonita to use at the next shrimp boat to keep the chum costs down. You may want to bring a couple cases of beer and trade the shrimpers for some chum or even some shrimp .

Put fences around your feeders so hogs have no access. Build some decent sized corral traps and start feeding corn there. Catch as many as you can. Wash rinse repeat

Sending in the national guard to any city is just turning the lights on in your roach filled apartment. Once they leave which they will then the roaches will be right back. Don’t try it, the origin of that myth was an April fools article in marlin magazine. I remember vividly reading that article sitting on the jon at a friends camp in grand isle circa some time in the late 90’s. I thought I had found the holy grail of grand isle party favors. We tried licking those slimy bastards and nothing happened. It was years later that I read it was an April fools article, they got me good! I have a picture of one of my friends with a baby gaftop in his mouth, priceless ??
