Having to always carry around at least a sweater or jacket even in July and August can make anything ugly.
When that on shore flow is coming in strong those July nights after it being sunny and warm during the day makes you wish you were in Cleveland
San Francisco for sure besides New Orleans is the only city in the United States that when you are in that there is no question where you are at
That uniqueness even with those summer evenings that you truly believe you are going to suffer frostbite at 55 degrees makes it a city no matter the people who live there that will always be loved

The Chip Kelly Bowl September 3rd

I know it may be disrespectful to say another bowl game is being played in the Rose Bowl but it looks like the UCLA/ Texas a&m showdown the 3rd of September might go a long way in determining where Chip goes in the future
At the end of the day Chip Kelly will determine where he goes because after being fired by the Niners supposedly Cal fired their coach because they believed they had Chip Kelly. Kelly did not go to Cal so this game may end up being another game

That is why the A&M Tech rivalry was so good
I do not see why A&M will not play them anymore.
Tech may beat the more than not out in Lubbock but it is not a series in which A&M won't win most of the games

You have to understand that like Tech A&M only represents a small part of Texas.
Tech is as a west Texas as the wind and dust and A&M is as east Texas, even though it is actually in central Texas, as pine trees and the Deep South.
a&m doesn't understand that UT is the university of Texas because it represents the entire state.

Instead of staying and fight against a more powerful opponent Aggy turned tail and ran to the Old Confederacy.
First off turning tail and running is not becoming of a true Texan nor even of an Okie. More importantly trying to act Southern like a&m did when they were being courted by the SEC may be even worse because we are the Southwest. Screw Dixie and the South that is not Texas. To bow the head of a Texas university shows who Aggy really is

I am not here as a representative of the University of Texas. My actions here are not the actions of the university nor of the alumni or the fans of the University of Texas. If they would like me to I could negotiate a fee for my services but they have never asked. I am sure if they wanted to use this message board to spread their message they would use the best and from what I have heard from Aggy is that I am not the best

For sure not a university that could turn pocket aces into a losing hand. Some people and organizations can turn shite into gold but there are some that can turn gold into shite. Nothing against Aggy but it seems that they are the latter because no matter their resources some people are just born to not be able to maintain success like old Texas. Oil and agriculture. New Texas on the other hand is diverse and they can maintain winning. They turn their gold into more gold

Your entire existence is wrapped around another university. I am sure there are some involved with Aggy that spends more time worried about UT than their own university.
Just let it go and live your life. A&M made the decision to no longer be involved with the Texas universities after 115 years of history. It is not just UT but Baylor and TCU and to a lesser extent Tech.
Possibly there could be a way for you to reconsider your decision but I am sure the people in Austin would not allow you to return because the 100 year decision has put UT in a position of being able to determine the future of college athletics based on the path they choose

Problem is the Big 12 is a conference, a collection of universities, not one individual university

I do not think in College Station they care what happens to Kansas St or West Virginia that much
