I was dealing with the same thing and had a breakthrough a few months back. I was able to correct this by simply changing backswing. My issue was that i was taking it back way to vertical. I started taking it back more horizontal and that sets you up to deliver the downswing more horizontally (shallow) which will fix that out to in. You cant deliver an out to in swing if you do it shallow.

I can confirm this. My 2018 had 2 cam phaser jobs under warranty and then my transmission went out after warranty expired at 80k miles. I traded it it after all that.
