Mizzou might make a bowl game this year. Does that mean they are no longer the worst team in the conference?
If Freeze doesn't get fired due to the NCAA shitshow, I don't think OM lets him go. If they're willing to keep him around after all that has happened I think he'll survive a mediocre season.
What coaches do you think will have to perform very well this season to keep their job?

The only two I think are Butch and Malzahan. Any other obvious one I'm missing?

Look, I hate Ole Miss fans and all, but none of them are actually dense enough to believe they are going to win the SEC in football considering they aren't eligible to compete in SECCG.

I will help you Vols count:
Loss to Vandy
Loss to Georgia
Loss to Florida
Losses to the 2 West teams
Loss to either Kentucky or USCe

That's 6 losses, bubs.

Idk is it against the rules? I saw a bloke on here with the name "DeathPenalty" and thought I'd copy his idea.
I laughed. Nothing wrong with having fun.

Ole Miss competes in a bowl game this postseason.

Anyone want to take me up on this bet?
Why would you over-exert yourself and risk getting hurt if you have no chance of getting a title or going to a rad bowl game?

Just wonderin'
Are we talking regular season? I'll take that bet, easy.

Some people just can't be helped.
Name another SEC school that has been hit with a postseason ban in football in the last 3 years.
Won't matter. YAOM and will not make it to the NCAA tournament. At least you are technically allowed to play in the basketball post season.
I try not to hate student athletes, but it's hard not to call out Fairly here.

I also though AJ McArron or w/e was a prick.
I want to go ahead and call LSU losing to Mississippi State in their first SEC game. LSU looks to have a talented team, but O is their HC, and they will likely have some issues early season. Mullen's QB will be guaranteed to score a few points this game and if LSU doesn't have their shite together defensively Mullen will likely take advantage and get some easy scores (see MSU v A&M,MSU v OM last season). MSU's defense probably won't be great but I think it will be enough to give LSU a hard time.

Add in the fact that it's in Starkville and MSU fans will still have delusions of a successful season at this point, and I think LSU will have a hard time coming out of this game with a win.

I also think this list is bad in other ways. I think Arkansas can beat TCU and Kentucky can definitely beat USCe. I hope A&M and Georgia can surprise us and avoid their projected losses as well.
I think any of them will be lucky to go this season - much less win it all.

There are solid teams in the conference this year, but none of them are at the level of taking the title.

I'm just a bloke that decided to finally make an account here to share my brilliant drunken idea.
We should replace Mizzou with BYU.

1. BYU fits in with the rest of the SEC schools about as much as Mizzou does.
2. BYU will likely get more SEC wins than Mizzou this season when BYU defeats LSU.
3. BYU has decent football and basketball programs. Not sure about baseball. Mizzou doesn't offer these things
4. BYU students/fans are more fun that Mizzou students/fans
5. BYU fans are better at showing up to sporting events than Mizzou fans
6. BYU probably has better parties than Mizzou.

We need to make this happen, fellas. It would improve our conference significantly with no cost to any of us.
