You have to go by players still playing and coaches still coaching

How many players are left in the SEC from 2012 and 2013 let alone coaches

Since the 2012 season more than half of the SEC has changed coaches
I came here to defend one of your players against an attack

I guess that is not appreciated
That is more like Texas State College Station.

Are you in celebration over this kid's downfall

I hate the Aggies as much as anyone but maybe besides Johnny Football because he deserves it I am not celebrating anyone's problems
The coaches they have added to the conference the last three years I believe has made the difference

At the end of the year you can say they had 5 or maybe 6 decent teams

Including FSU, Miami, Va Tech, Pittsburgh and Clemson
With Louisville as a maybe
The conference was a mismatch from the beginning

CU had long ago grew out of being considered a Midwest farm school. Colorado in the 50's and 60's was not the CU of the 90's. Not to mention how they viewed every university besides their own.
People who claim UT is arrogant and snobby has never been around Boulder or CU alum

The Northern schools besides Nebraska and later Kansas St valued basketball over football and in some cases did not value football at all

The Texas schools besides A&M and UT were forced into the Big 12. Tech would never have been there because all the other schools had longer connections with the SWC. Tech came from the predecessor to the WAC the Border Conference.

Most importantly every school formerly in the Big 8 besides the Oklahoma schools thought that OU turned their backs on them because of UT

They didn't hate OU because of this but UT
I thought I could get different perspectives on here

Everyone on the Rant would take this as a personal attack and become defensive

I would rather admit the truth and see what people think is the reason why the SEC has fallen

I believe it is because of the idea that it is Bama against everyone

The SEC became great when Bama was down but when Bama became good again I believe the SEC went down
If you go by National Championships the past 4 years like what the SEC did during their reign then you can truthfully say yes

What can the SEC do to become the best football conference again?
From what I saw last year in college football the ACC and BIG are better conferences Top to bottom

So if the SEC wants to be even further behind them then go ahead and allow UT and OU to join their conferences
Someone needs to remove the A&M bullshite from
the eyes of people around here

If the SEC doesn't want OU and UT then that will be their own demise because their product will suffer because they will no longer be the best conference in football

Without UT and OU last year the ACC and BIG pretty much equaled the playing field if not past the SEC

For one and most importantly someone in your conference needs to be able to challenge Bama and the three universities who can UF, UGA and A&M all have their limitations and with A&M it is their own inferiority

Do you need me to show LSU's and A&M's record before Bama and after Bama
That really doesn't bother anyone in Austin because wherever UT goes will instantly become the best conference

That is the power you left UT.
The ACC, BIG and PAC 12 wants the University of Texas not even mentioning the SEC

I hate to inform my friends in College Station but their huge 100 year decision and their plan to become the true #1 University in Texas is not working and will not work
So proud of your Appearances in the Super Regionals

Funny thing is for A&M that their replacement has kicked their asses the past two years in the Super Regionals

Where is your safe space from LSU

Or are you counting on UT to defend you when they play LSU because A&M has embarrassed the state of Texas by allowing LSU to walk all over them
I do not understand this reasoning

Why wouldn't you want to improve your conference

Is the SEC that afraid of competition
Texas has power inside the Big 12 because what it added to the conference
The state of Texas population wise was as much as all the other states combinded. More importantly Texas recruits from Texas HS's littered every Big 12 roster.

The championship game for the Northern teams was a chance for another game in Texas. It was something that they all approved of but it was made to seem like it was UT taking over the conference

Most people do not know why Nebraska hates Texas so much and it has nothing to do with off the field it was pure and simple numbers as the Cornhuskers no longer could compete with Texas

As you have seen leaving the Big 12 hasn't help with that either

Everyone is always looking for scapegoats instead of looking at themselves in the mirror
The Texas legislature was what allowed Arkansas to move to the SEC
UT and FSU were the first two choices in late 80's but first FSU said no so A&M was brought up but the Texas Legislature got involved I thought it was because of Baylor but you may know better as I was young at the time and I am only going off what others said and the bits and pieces I read.

Bill Moyers has accomplished 1000 more in his life than McConaughey

Walter Cronkite is still the most famous UT alum

And South Carolina is

Do you not understand you are speaking about two blue bloods.

I never saw your university play in a BCS game nor in a Group of 6 under the new format
By you saying this are you admitting the SEC is weak

If the SEC was strong UT wouldn't be able to supposedly ruin the conference

The schools who agreed to base revenue on success used capitalistic ideas on how to divide revenue.

Unless you are for collectivism and allowing a school who doesn't invest into their product to receive the same amount as you for doing less
Damn I know most of you complain about supposed leaches on our federal government how about leaches upon your conference because it is the same thing
You are rewarding laziness and people who do not attempt to find success
