Yep, I bought one already and usually have my wife clip the coupon on her app to get a second one when they have a limit of 1. Super1 had pork butts for $.97/lb a week or two ago as well. Deals can still be had, I usually stock up when I see them.

Connecting i49 in Lafayette to Hwy90 that runs all the way to NOLA, making it an interstate the whole way. It's been in the works for probably 40 years now. In another 40 years it'll probably still be in the works.

I used my wife's app and went pick up a second one, going to grind it up tonight along with a chuck roast I forgot I had in the freezer.

They're choice but probably the cheapest I've seen briskets all year. You have to use their app/digital coupon thing. They also have a digital coupon where if you spend $50 you get $10 off. Stopped and grabbed a 18lb and it was $44. Limit 1 per person though. I like to try to stock up on a few when I see them on sale this time of year to keep them to grind/mix with venison once the season gets going.

Was always one of my favorite fishing shows, loved Tony and always enjoyed Cedric Watson's music on the show.

Bo Grafton who used to regularly be on the show with Tony sort of picked up the torch and continued to make the show and named it Keep on Castin'. Not sure if it's still airing on TV but every few months they'll upload a few new episodes to their Youtube channel. Not quite the same without Tony but I always watch any new episodes and glad to see the show sorta lives on.

Pretty spot on, my wife and I did a long weekend there in December a couple years ago and really enjoyed it for a nice quiet getaway, but we mostly stayed at the cabin, had coffee on the porch with the deer in the mornings, hung out by the firepit, and drank in the hot tub. The only time we went to town was to eat at Grateful Head Pizza, stop at a couple breweries and I bought some nice steaks to grill one night, and did a few hikes. December is apparently slow season there, so our cabin was fairly cheap. I'd do it again.

Depending on the size of your group, kids, etc there's some cabins with some unique features to keep busy. Some with puttputt courses, saw a few with slides and stuff inside, etc.

Planning to make boudin tomorrow, I used chicken liver last time but would prefer to use pork. I even remember Super1 on Duelles having it because I made a mental note of it for next time but apparently they no longer carry it.

Can I say they've missed once again? I've yet to watch a single race this season and have only ever watched the highlights. I'd imagine there's plenty others like me who still want to keep up but don't want to subscribe to Apple.
