Incase he was talking about Nascar, he can probably get in some sort of guest type spot. Kimi Raikkonen did a couple Nascar races a couple years ago after he retired from F1, I'm sure they'd be willing accommodate Max the same, it would be fun to see him try a road course.

re: First trip to rigs

If you don't already have them I found a guy through Facebook that sells a SD card with all the rigs/wellheads marked as waypoints for $50. I then went onto the LDWF website and pulled all the coordinates for all the reefs/cutoff rigs they have listed from ST all the way east to a bit past Venice and manually entered them into our unit. Even if you don't want to mess with the reefs/cutoffs I felt like for $50 it was a good value to have all the wellheads marked.

Ours was a TRD Off Road Premium, KBB comes in around the low 30s, which is pretty wild considering we paid $40k for it new. So far the only other TRDORP I've found under $30k has ~220k miles on it.

At this point I'm assuming the at-fault probably just has the $25k minimum coverage, I'm halfway tempted to just take their $25k and keep the 4Runner and either sell it as -is outright or hang onto it, collect parts, and repair it myself, frames can be had for ~$1500 and I'm just dumb enough to do it.

My other option is to turn it over to my insurance to collect maybe an extra $5k, lose the vehicle, and have my insurance rates go up for filing a claim. :banghead:

We got word on Friday that our 2019 is totaled after being hit by a drunk driver, and I'm devastated. I wanted to keep it forever and joked that one day our kids would be driving it. I've even tossed around the idea of buying it back and frame swapping it, yes, I'm that attached to it. :wah:

2nd Gen Sequoias are another line that's holding value, equipped with the same 5.7 V8 as the same year Tundras and can go forever. That may be what we replace the 4Runner with for now.

 I really wanted to like George, he seemed like a likable young talent at Williams just needing his big break, had that great drive when he replaced Lewis in 2020 only to have the win pulled out from under him.

Then the crash with Bottas in Imola happened that was his fault and he came off as an entitled brat and he hasn't really been likable since then. He's a cringy bastard
I feel like someone needs to tell him to STFU because I feel like he's making it worse by doubling down.
I don't really watch either of them but watched a DMFD video recently because I saw he'd bought an Insetta 35 cat with Honda 350s and those interest me, they're a hydrofoil assisted 35' catamaran and tout a good ride and supposedly amazing fuel mileage. However, everything I see about mileage is people running ~35mph and I can't imagine spending that much on a cat and running so damn slow.
Yes/no, they won't proceed any further until they have the police report showing them fully liable. Going through your insurance may have sped up the process, but once you have the report showing them as liable things should speed up a bit.

Source: Currently dealing with the same shite after being hit by a drunk with no license and questionable immigration status, luckily the bastard had insurance. However, they wouldn't proceed any further until we had the police report despite providing them with dashcam video of the whole accident. It'll be a month on Sunday and I still have no idea if they'll be fixing our vehicle or totaling it :banghead:
We do a pretty good bit of DIY on vehicles, I desperately want a 2 post car lift to keep from working on stuff on the ground/on jackstands/etc.

It's good for what it is, a fast-casual spot to maybe grab some lunch, but not really worthy of making a trip just to go there.

We recently tried Minami downtown and enjoyed it.
We went a couple years ago and purposely set our checkout date the Saturday of the show, and were on a boat to catch the practice session on Friday. The practice session is a full run through of the actual show, and while crowded, was no where near the crowds/traffic that we saw already stacking up when we left town the Saturday morning. So that's always my tip, catch it Friday if you can.

There's a Facebook page you can follow( Blue Angels Practice Info) that post all their scheduled info. We were there all week and were able to catch a beach buzz on the Sunday when they came in from an out of town show, then their normal Tuesday and Wednesday practice sessions, then the full show practice session on Friday.
I love driving for road trips, especially in an area of the country I've never been, and hate the process of flying. 10-12 hours doesn't bother me, my longest was 18 hours from Key West to Lafayette and another trip did Lafayette to Denver in 24 hours, that one included pulling over for about a 3 hour nap.

While you could get by with a 3/4 ton you really would be better off with a one ton, dually and diesel definitely preferred.

Source: I occasionally pull around a similar sized RV in my 3/4 ton....it's much more sketchy than pulling the same unit with a 1 ton dually.
Back in the street to keep the motorcycles from speeding. The clibbins keeps them in line.
Not sure who the people are but the yellow STO belonged to Red or maybe Red’s son. It’s at the Lafayette cars and coffee pretty often.

They actually just deposited my partial refund since the next two Middle East races just got cancelled.
Yea if Mercedes is really kneecapping the teams running their PUs then you have to imagine this is partially due to McLaren mopping the floor the last couple years with a Mercedes PU in the back while the parent team couldn't compete. They're not concerned about Williams because they've built a pig but they'll likely be concerned about giving McLaren the same power advantage given what McLaren has shown to be able to do in the aero/chassis development lately.

One, or 7, of these after cutting the grass or working outside is perfect.
