I have been spraying it here in the FL Panhandle with temps around 88 and haven't noticed any damage to my St Augustine - no yellowing, nothing. Like you, I've been spraying buttweed and it's been controlling it well....

Thanks. I may take your advice and just spot spray the Torpedo Grass. Some dead Centipede won't kill me....

Doh! Glad I asked. There isn't too much torpedo grass right now, if I can stay sane, would you recommend painting concentrated glyphosate directly onto the torpedo grass blades (thus hopefully protecting the centipede)?...

My lawn is primarily St Augustine, but I have a few spots that are not. I can't identify them myself, but one section now has Torpedo Grass creeping in (as you can see in the 2nd picture). I want to make sure whatever it is, I am safe to spray Quinclorac on it to control the Torpedo Grass. Thank you...
