Anyone shopping today?

I sat with Palantir for a couple of years ‘21-23 (I think) hearing about how it was the next big thing as it went sideways. Finally bailed on it breaking about even, losing nothing but opportunity cost. Then it starts to go up and I get in again and it almost immediately tanks (on a percentage basis). I felt personally responsible.

Similar story with a small investment in bitcoin. Got in in late 2022. Went more or less sideways for a year or so then jumped out. Went up again, so stuck my toe back in to a falling knife.

Cant complain too much as neither was a large position, but for some reason I just can’t win with these investments. I’m holding both now and accepting they may never go up but at least I won’t have to watch them rise from the sidelines.

So the teacher didn’t sleep with any of the students?

Enjoyed the first two seasons. Season three just wasn’t funny. It was pretty sad and started to feel preachy. Worried that season four will go full social commentary and have no humor. The IMDb ratings (for what those are worth) drop off for season four. For those who have watched them all and enjoyed the first couple of seasons, is it worth finishing the series?

I do not miss the disappointing January Sundays. I told my Broncos fans friends not to get too excited.

It’s apples job to tell us what we are missing out on. But I did just upgrade from iPhone 14 to 17 and I did not notice a difference. They have jumped the shark on the iPhone. I think I read they are basically living off of AirPod sales these days.

I liked him better when he did sketch comedy. He is just alright as a director.

I just own BITO etf and despite bitcoin tanking I am somehow getting paid out pretty sweet dividends. No clue how or why. But yeah, bitcoin makes no sense to me as an investment asset. Just bought some for a little exposure.
