There is no reason to expect a miracle that will return society to pre-2020 life. At least not by the beginning of the 2021 season. Expect games to be played in empty stadiums, teams to play short handed due to ridiculous covid restrictions, and the cancellation of games completely. Conferences might actually do what they started to do before the 2020 season and just cancel completely. Get used to it.

I hope the contact tracing protocols get thrown into the garbage this offseason

Fear merchants have too much to lose. Must clamp down harder.

There’s reasons to expect things will much better than they were in 2020. Outside of stadium capacity prob still being limited, I don’t see any reason for things not to return to normal in CFB otherwise. By September, most people should be vaccinated unless they choose not to

I at least hope it’s a full season with a full spring and not a bunch of opt outs.

If that can happen, even if there are no fans, I think the season will at least feel slightly normal

Hopefully we at least get a full 12-game schedule in.

They didn't cancel it in 2020 why would they cancel it in 2021?

Why wouldn’t it? The vast majority of the population will be vaccinated by summer.

I wish that little dwarf would come to my house personally to administer his miracle "vaccine".

with the money in the NCAA they will purchase the vaccine and give to everyone associated with sports at the collegiate level. We may see certain things not return to normal but we will be better off next year to play all sports starting in the fall.

Exactly. I can't imagine a scenario whereby people relax and return to the way things were. At least not in the few short months until the 2021 football season. I think covid is WAY overblown, but it's ramifications are here for the foreseeable future.

WTF is he gonna do? He's only a puppet to get the first female President in office.

What makes you think they would willingly give up their new found power given to them by so many stupid Americans?

They won’t. This is life in America now indefinitely.

And will need to keep them in place to remove Biden and install Kamala. Bad days are coming our way if she ever gets in office.

People quit dying, the vaccine is effective for all, or we don't morph this COVID stuff to the second round of a meaner, nastier, more deadly version, much in the same manner of the Spanish Influenza of 1918, sure, then we will be right back to what is normal.

We're right where the institution wants us... at home in front of TVs sucking down fear, uncertainty, doubt, and commercials.
