I had monovision correction 30 years ago. Best of both worlds in my opinion. Others I know who have had both eyes done needed reading glasses immediately. I can't see shite out of my corrected eye up close. Uncorrected eye still pretty good up close. Brain sorts it out pretty seamlessly....
