You could turn a "Barry Goldwater" conservative into a liberal if you had the videos that Epstein probably has on Roberts....
re: Mystery pair of panties in my house

When I was a student at LSU and worked offshore during the summers during the mid 80s, I saw the guys out there play a prank on a foreman. They put a pair of panties and a double D sized bra in the baw's duffle bag before he went home. His routine was to just place his duffle bag on the washing m...

re: Where were you in 1984?
Posted by 87PurpleandGold on 2/28/24 at 5:23 pm
I was a student living in Kirby Smith and North Stadium going to panty raids, parties, working at Laville cafeteria because that's where most of the girls were; studying my butt off, working out in the old gym armory, Jerry Stovall, Bill Arnsparger, throwing frisbee on the Parade Grounds, walking to...

My Uncle who died at 96 yrs in 2011, was a top turret gunner and was a part of the Schweinfurt raid. We talked to him about it, and as he retold the story, I could tell he got emotional and got a little lost thinking about it. Prior to WWII, he was in the Marines and went to boot at Parris Island. ...

That's what I'm thinking....if not Big Mike, somebody wildly popular amongst the libs. It'll be played as a revealing of the "saviour of the progressive libs" agenda to "rally the people" against this rising orange dictator. Mr. Potato is just the puppet show. I'm sure there's a lot of things happ...

re: "Truths" that you learned way too late in life
Posted by 87PurpleandGold on 2/4/24 at 10:18 pm
Ive learned no.1 is true. No. 6 has bit me several times. I still give people the benefit of the doubt, but I'm quicker to be aware of human nature. Regarding no. 9, the best method for me when I'm trying to solve a problem, is to take a walk and stop obsessing about it. I'll pray about it too. ...
re: PSA: Maybe not attempt "hot potting" in Yellowstone National Park
Posted by 87PurpleandGold on 2/3/24 at 5:35 pm
Sad story..much of Yellowstone and the lake is a huge volcano caldera. Below the lake, about 2 miles, is the largest magma deposit in North American. The geysers, thermal pools, etc. are releasing energy. The heat at the surface is a portent of the extreme heat below. The park is a great place to ...

Right. You can look back at history, and it's obvious socialism and communism dont work. But people are stupid enough to believe the lies. The Founders, like Jefferson, knew human nature well which is where his Tree of Liberty quote comes from. Tyrants, bloodshed amd war....
