This site censors more than you think.
I remember the first aerial pictures a few days later, and the trees looked like hair on a wet dog's back. The trees up close were very large, just laid over like matchsticks.
Long fed up with all the tough talk too. Just release it and burn the whole thing down to the ground.
Chocolate....especially if I'm facing a tight deadline....Didn't notice it at first.
Ok, this is weird. How many days has it been since 9/11?

Ask Grok - No. of Days since 911
You're probably right. But it still pees me off.
I've seen people literally come to al
stop amd take a left onto the Interstate with traffic going 70 mph. Also the opposite, break, break and break to slow down before entering the deceleration lane to exit as opposed to slowing down on the DEceleration lane. That habit alone causes backups down the interstate for miles.
They need to check his hard drive and phone too.

Great ad. I do miss those days. Glad I lived during the times I lived. I never thought I'd long for the days and times we took for granted, then.
Get them out of the way and a much needed bath at the same time! ??
I can remember in the early 90s in Baton Rouge, Dick Schultz, former owner of Trinity Consulting, had nothing but Indians working for him. They were all H1Bs. It was either work for 80 hrs/wk on a fixed salary, or it's back to Calcutta or Mumbai with a one-way ticket. He had at least a 3 to 5 multiplier on the labor rate he was charging. It was a sweatshop. He later sold Trinity and made a fortune. But a lot of folks used that to get wealthy, then bailed. He knew he wouldn't get away with using Americans like that.
So far, Bondi's been a waterless cloud. Elvis sang it best, "Less talk and lot more action."
Right. Tariffs are just a reflection if a country really is taking advantage of you, or they're giving you a fair exchange. Until Trump, countries have been screwing the US over while all the while, we the people, are just busy with our everyday lives coming home and gradually experiencing the decay of the US across the board. And now that the frog has awakened and starts wanting a better deal, people are "how dare you!". No more. You either give us a better exchange, or we go elsewhere. It's a HUGE shift. But it's an absolute necessary one. We cannot continue the way we've been blindly led and survive.
Exactly. We're basically hemorrhaging our wealth across the board with the current net effect of tariffs and trade. Trump is leveling the field. That's all. If another country makes it more fair, the escalation stops. So the sooner another country comes to the table, the better. A lot of companies are moving back to the US as a result. Another interesting dynamic is companies here in the US are using foreign workers abroad as opposed to US workers. It's the same thing but with labor as opposed to made products. For example, Ive heard Chevron will be farming out a lot of engineering to India while laying off US workers. It'll be interesting to see what Trump's response will be. Overall, the tariffs are shifting manufacturing back to the US and will make this country not just a consumer economy but also one that makes products as well, like it used to.
No surprise here. Ann & Nancy were raised in the Pacific NW. Their Father was a US Marine. I was a huge fan ever since their Dreamboat Annie album came out in 1976. But over the years, both sisters have made cracks about liberal issues, and I backed way off and just quit following them. I was disappointed but not surprised. I am sure she has alienated a lot of fans over the years. She mentions Vietnam, but today is a totally different situation nothing like then. The Hippies of the 60s were mostly nothing like the radical progressive socialists intent on destroying our country today. Sure, you had some extremes but the majority were not. At least the 60s Hippies started the Jesus Revolution. Sadly, that didn't seem to rub off on Ann or Nancy.
