C'mon 7-4 scoreline. Ready to calculate earned runs divided by outs recorded between tied teams. Can't wait to factor in a team in a tiebreaker that is already eliminated by another tiebreaker. Would be epic for a team to be eliminated because of earned/unearned runs from another eliminated team.
So happy to get your opinion.

Can’t you just be excited about the pels like the rest of us.
This weekend will be a big test for tech playing in adverse circumstances. All day games bc Marshall doesn’t have working lights. I think the rotation is set at this point, Gibson Jennings Fincher. Fincher as a preseason 3rd team all American has got to figure out.
Big game today for tech:

5 – Netterville Plays Hero as Louisiana Tech Evens Series
Leading up to the weekend, many considered the winner of the Louisiana Tech/Southern Miss series as a likely entrant to Monday’s Top 25. After Southern Miss took Friday’s game by a score of 8-2, Louisiana Tech evened the series with a 4-2 win on Saturday in dramatic fashion. With Southern Miss holding a 2-1 leading heading into the fifth inning, Steele Netterville provided the hit of the day, blasting a three-run shot that gave the Bulldogs a 4-2 lead, which proved to be the final score. Netterville also added a double in a 2-for-4 day at the plate, scoring LA Tech’s first run of the game one inning before his game-changing blast. Bulldogs starter Cade Gibson moved to 4-0 on the year, allowing a pair of first-inning runs before settling down to strike out nine batters over seven strong innings.

Win today and probably ranked in all polls.
Hoping real hard that a tech and lsu make a home and home a regular event. Big fan of both teams and both fan bases.
Went there for games in the old stadium and the new. I can tell you the new one is a million times nicer. Great environment last year for the regional. Hopefully some of the LSU fans will agree.

PS do not get concessions. They suck. Go to Dawghouse or Utility or one of the stationary food trucks before the game.

He should probably change that.
We would have had a better chance at winning but false, I think 3 points is about how much we would have scored either way, unless the d/st scored some
No 49ers would have had to swept games against Vikings AND Saints otherwise it goes to conference record, then common games, then strength of victory. H2H between 2 teams in a 3 team tiebreaker is irrelevant unless one team played both other teams.

Edit: Also you are using in-division tiebreakers as wild card tiebreakers which are two different scenarios. In-division record doesn’t matter for teams not in the same division.
Seems strange that San Fran would have beaten Philly and Philly would have beaten us, yet we get in over San Fran but that is how the tiebreakers seem to put things.
Good point, I didn’t scroll down far enough. Needed to go down to wild card. Looks like saints would be in in a 3 way tie because of common game winning pct, 2-4 for San Fran, 3-2 for Saints.

Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)
Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in conference games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss
I just figured it out on my own. First tiebreaker is head to head games.
If everyone wins out then Philly and San Fran get in by virtue of H2H tiebreaker, San Fran over Philly and Philly over Nola.

If it’s just San Fran and Nola in the tiebreaker, then Nola gets the tiebreak by virtue of strength of victory.

That Philly loss really bones us if it’s a 3 way tiebreaker.
State gave up on that game after it was 7-1. It was good coaching to give up on that one. Final score didn’t really matter. Still counts as one loss.
I disagree. Nc St just beat the best team and best pitcher in the country. Guess which team is the only team to beat Arkansas in a 3 game series this year... Ima ride the real state all the way to the cws title.

Stanford had a weak regional and beat a injury-ridden Texas tech team.
Duck yeah. Getting me some peaches while I’m up there.
Damn right. What a team.

Looking forward to this regional:

1 Louisiana Tech
2 NC State
3 LSU
4 McNeese St
D1 Regional Projection May 18

Ruston Regional
1. Louisiana Tech
4. VCU
2. Florida State
3. LSU
