I guess it evens out with the luck Miss had vs Bama. I wouldn't say the pass off the Bama player's helmet quite matches 4th and 25, but there were about 4 of those plays in the game and an unforced Bama fumble.

If he can find a decent assistant or 2 he can be able to win as a figurehead. Which is better than Muschamp can do.
Yeah John L Smith probably would be more humiliating than Muschamp actually. He and willingham are about the only 2 clear downgrades to Muschamp though.

Most players who commit this time of year later decommit.
Odds of TAMU going to Atlanta

For a fun team trip:about 1%.
For the Peach Bowl:0.05% since that's a semifinal this year.
For the SEC Championship Game:0.1%.

Zook is one of the best recruiters in CFB history. He certainly is a terrible coach. But he still can leaves things stacked for a successor.
Well I have done a bit of research which is reading this board and Tigerdroppings. A tiny sample size admittedly. But that is the way Tiger fans generally discuss Miles.
I thought he went 5-7 or 4-8 this year, not 3-9. Although starting up a new program is rather difficult.
If Ole Miss wins the game then they rather than Alabama would have gone to the SEC Championship Game. Both would have been 7-1 in the SEC but Ole Miss has the head to head win. Would the playoff committee have been willing to let an Alabama team that didn't win its own division be in the playoffs? They certainly could not have let an Ole MIss team that lost to Memphis in the playoffs. So would the unthinkable have happened and the SEC is the conference left out of the playoffs? I can't imagine the anger on this board if that occurred.

I'm not sure if the lateral is really even allowed under the 4th down fumble rule.It was absurdly lucky in any case.

He took over a team that still had a bunch of talent and went 3-9 in his first year. And yes, he has beaten Ole Miss in the past two seasons (Last year because of the luckiest play in the history of Arkansas football) as well as LSU, but wins like that are almost invalidated by losses to Toledo and Texas Tech.

You say that you'll be worried if he loses to teams like Florida next season. Just keep in mind that he has already lost to teams that are worse than Florida (not a knock on Florida, y'all whipped our a$$ last season lol)

Is that play really even legal under the 4th down fumble rule? If that had been ruled illegal, Ole Miss would have gone to the CCG instead of the Tide due to the head to head win and Alabama probably would have gotten shut out of the CFB playoff. Ole Miss still couldn't have gotten to the playoff themselves due to the Memphis loss. Yup if that absurdly lucky play doesn't happen then the SEC would probably have been shut out of the playoffs. That would have made this whole website go nuts with rage. Although most non SEC fans would be overjoyed.

What in the world are 3.05 and 4.25 supposed to mean?
I'm getting more up votes than down votes yet the people who like what I posted aren't coming to rescue me for some reason.
As I noted in another thread, when you start 0-13 the only way you can trend is LINK

Am I the only one who read the thread title and thought this was going to be a more interesting, but probably ban-inducing, topic?

I thought it would turn out to be more interesting for sure. Although I assume some of the Ole Miss and Tennessee fans fighting with each other will probably be banned. I find it rather surprising that this thread somehow turned into an Ole Miss vs Tennessee call each other rapists and cheaters playground.

I might have the exact same set of ratings except I'd probably flip Freeze and Malzahn and might flip Mason and Stoops since Mason deals with Vandy restrictions.
Freeze has a winning SEC record and 2 straight wins over Saban. Why would you say him?
Similiar to the posters on this board, Odom isn't a 100% proven failure as a head coach. (Even though it is doubtful Odom will succeed.) Muschamp on the other hand is a proven failure as a head coach, and in the same SEC East Division he's been hired in to boot.
