The other side of it is that he gambled on himself. If he would have gotten a career changing injury at any point this season he would have been screwed financially going forward without a contract in place. I don’t think that makes him selfish.

A freshly picked apple is x100 better than whatever you can get in a store. Plus, spending a fall morning in an orchard picking your own apples is just a fun activity to experience.

I wish the rule would be whatever you wear to bat, you have to keep with you while running the bases.
Having to call time to switch out 80% of your equipment after every hit seems silly to me.
