Johnny Jones is an embarrassment to LSU and to basketball. The total lack of effort in the last few games was nothing short of inexcusable - and 100% the coaches' fault.
And then to punk out of the NIT is shameful. It makes it even MORE clear that Johnny Jones sanctions quitting. Be a MAN and play hard to the very last possible minute!
Why doesn't LSU just fire Jones? He's the cause of all this misery.

That's a term we used for little kids teams, like age 9 and under. Probably not a good term to use, sorry if that offended anyone.

Johnny Jones just May be the worst college coach I've ever seen. His offensive sets are pitiful, and they rarely run pick-n-rolls against MTM defense, which a good Jr High team does. They just dribble around and then throw up some wreckless shot with the clock expiring.
I've watched all of LSU's games this year, and have Never seen a team shoot so many airballs since midget league - they should be embarrassed.
Only one game - the Kentucky win - did they hustle like they cared and scrap like rabid dogs. Otherwise they look like a group of stoned frat brothers playing pick up.
Jones should be fired immediately, yesterday.

Johnny Jones needs to be fired. He's a terrible coach, their offense is abysmal, they can't play individual or team defense, and the worst is that they've given up. No excuse for this team not making the Big Dance, none. If a coach can't motivate a team with that level of talent, he needs to GO.

I do know a few things about basketball, and watching this LSU team play is making me CRAZY. Jones is the worst coach I've ever seen - his players do stuff that shouldn't happen in Jr High. Pitiful. He should be fired.

Johnny Jones is the worst coach I think I've ever seen. At times they've played great defense (win over Kentucky), but many times they let guys drive baseline, let them go to the hoop unhindered, it's pitiful.
Their offensive scheme is awful. It looks like either pass to Simmons, or just go 1-on-1. I have never seen so many airballs and backboard airballs in my entire life - looked like a youth church league team.
But the real killer is when they play without passion, like they did today against Tennessee. I don't care WHAT is happening, ANYBODY can, and should hustle and play hard. NO EXCUSE for lazy, slack play.
Jones should be fired, but her probably won't be because he can recruit and he's black. But he sure can't coach;.
