3. How do you know this is miles recruiting pitch? That's the players choice is it not. Kinda the risk/reward of going after high profile recruits
re: Why would LSU allow Herman to go to South Carolina?

Maybe because this is all speculation and miles isn't going anywhere..or they have their man locked up

Umm...kinda been like that for the past decade. List is to tl,dr. Lsu not the first and certainty won't be the last. If salaries were the same as in the 90's sure it's acceptable to lose 3-5 a year but when your paid millions, the narrative changes.

I'm not rooting against lsu...never said that. I hope miles finishes his contract out here and wins another title. If He doesn't, it's ok people.. yall really are just a fun bunch to be around. I'm betting good money youre the one of many that leaves at halftime and I'm the one that needs to gtfo when i stay to the end and support the team to the end...sounds right

I can't wait
Posted by Lesgeauxsmiles on 11/22/15 at 5:35 pm
I can't wait for the time that miles moves on,who knows when that'll be or how it'll be done. Hopefully he gets to retire after a very successful season. That's what the man deserves. Hes never had a fair shot here at lsu, but he had to deal with more than any other lsu coach has delt with. Between lynch mob fans hurricanes, and having to kickoff star players. He's run a program exactly how'd you would want a man to do. Sure hes had some mistakes along the way, but in the grand scheme of everything he's a top 5 coach.
I can't wait to see our fans humbled. I for one am sick of it. It's not the players, coaches or other programs thats the biggest threat to lsu..it's the piss poor attitude of the fans. Leaving at half time, the constant bitchin by the fans. Lsu is a shell of its former self. Not because of les, not because of our players.
Its not just me or other lsu fans that think this..but pretty much every opposing fanbase thinks the same way i do and how do I know this..because my season tickets where it used to packed full lsu faithful..is now full of Arkansas, alabama, florida, Mississippi st, Ole miss, fans. Everyone I've talked to says the same thing. It was very disappointing to listen to Arkansas fans tell me how sad it was that the stadium was empty around the 4th.
I know noone will read this and change their mind. But let's think for a min. Would you trade places with any other program in the sec..besides alabama..or let's look at current historical great programs..
Usc-dumpster fire, Texas same, auburn- not very good, Oklahoma- shits the bed every year, georgia-same, Nebraska-same, Michigan-finally becoming relavant, florida st- jimbo can't even win that league every year.. so who would yall want..saban?? Guess what that ship has sailed..whose posed more threat to the saban almighty..that's right..les miles
So go ahead bitch and complain all you want.. run off the best thing that's happened to lsu..

Don't be foolish. I'm a les supporter but cam needs to go. He's a nfl coordinater. Really look at our routes we running. There for nfl quarterbacks...
Cam best year..which was 2013. We had nfl qb and 2 stud receivers that catch everything that came their way..

So what your telling me is the moment a player steps on campus as a fr..he doesn't get any better. There's no difference between him as a Fr vs senior or so to Jr or Jr to sr. 1 player stands out to me. Lael collins..
Already outstanding player. Comes back senior year and is unstoppable

So all 12 of those were going to be high draft picks last year? No, they stayed to improve position. I've remembered plenty of Bama early departures before.
But i was talking about lsu..not bama
Our current situation has alot to do with how young/ inexperienced our team is. Deny it all you want

How about we realize how young this team really is.. and get behind this coaching staff and most importantly the players. You know the ones that witnessed a whole stadium vacate before the 4th quarter. As fast as yall grasp..your bitchin isn't going to change anything. Shut up and start supporting the team or jump off the bandwagon..

I'm just guessing here. This is only a guess. But I'm sure les and his staff probably knows the team's weakness and strengths better than than anyone else.
But, obviously what we do quite well is run the ball. Let me add we've done it to everybody on our schedule thus far. Rather it's from under center or shotgun. Bama is one team and miles and company set the game to win. It's not going to be pretty but it's a proven method to beat them.
Half of our plays were PASSES..but according to the rant, they are the wrong passes. We were practically tied at half. If we don't throw an interception starting the 3rd quarter and then proceed to start every possession inside our own 15..I'm pretty sure its a different game.
All I'm saying is that the game plan was there. It hard to see that, with the final score was what was
Miles didn't overthrow fournette
Miles didn't throw a pick to start 3rd quarter
Miles didn't kick the ball out of bounds
Miles/Cameron did what they thought would win, they had a great game plan.
Players play and coaches coach. We have great players and coaches. The players have to sometimes put it on their shoulders and make the plays

The one thing I took away from Bama game was when lsu lined up in shotgun. Read option worked the only few times they ran it. Think this plays to state perfectly. Just don't how much room Bama will give state.

I agree with you. Playing calling was set up nicely. Just didn't execute a few plays. Move on and hope the dominos fall in our favor. If not, a 1 loss season is still in reach

It's classic overreaction after a game like that. It'll work itself out in the end. I don't it was absolute beat down as everyone says. But the stat line reads fournette less than 50 yards is what everyone is reacting to

There was no where to run. Bama's end played perfectly.
Never took their selves out of the play.
As far as short intermediate passes. We only had 3 deep balls out of all those plays. 1 for a touchdown 1 pass interference. 1 to dural in double coverage

First time posting.I'm not here to bash players/coaches. I think they play/coach as hard as anyone in the country. Just watched the recording. I only watched until the 3rd quarter, pretty useless after that.
As much as yall want to bash Miles/ Cameron staff here's the actual facts from the game. Miles/Cameron called the first half perfectly, in my opinion. They mixed shotgun and Iformation/1 back sets a pretty good bit.
I formation/1 backsets they ran 7 times for 19 yards(8 of that coming from qb scramble) and we're 1/2 passing. Versus shotgun ran 5 times for 28 yards(20 of that coming from read option). 2/7 passing with a touchdown and sack.
Can't really argue, thats pretty balanced as far as play calling the first half. Only 2 bad plays. Brandon I thought missed fournette earlier in the 2ND pos. If they connect on that, who know what comes of that drive. With Gamble kicking the ball out bounds, 10 extra yards would have pushed them out of field goal range. Would have been tied ballgame. The 1st half they had 1 guy covering fournette on passing plays. Really think the screens would have been blown up if they tried. The main problem with the offensive line was our tackles not getting much of push on the outside to spring fournette.
3 quarter they mixed it up a little throwing pistol set in twice.2 plays- For 1 run of a yard/1 interception. I formation/1 backset they were 2 runs for 0 yards and 0/1 passing and a sack. Shotgun was 2 runs for 3 yards and 2/5 for 17 yards, For 13 plays
Say/spin this how you want, but miles set the game plan to be a close, hard game. Which we win more times than not. If we don't throw an interception starting the 3rd quarter or gamble doesn't kick the ball out bounds and spot them 10 points.
I Think the game falls more on the players not making the plays more than coaching/play calling.
Some of yall really need to get a grip and stop bashing the coaches play calling. You know, I think they might know a little more than we do
. We still have an heck of a team and still have alot to play for. I'm damn proud of Lsu. Here's to us winning out!
