Year 1 was amazing
He inherited a loaded roster. It could have been and should have been more "amazing" than it was, imo.

He is mature and confident.
Agreed. He's impressive and would be a dynamic get. But I recall being impressed with Brandon Harris during interviews while he was being recruited as well.

i celebrated when he left. Even watching his antics on Nebraska's sideline made me cringe. He's an obnoxious blowhard imo.

Definitely Jefferson's pick. Second place might be the leaping stab Malachi made on a critical 3rd down.
re: Even Steele doesn't want to work at LSU

You are a clueless Richard, imo.
How appealing is a DC job that comes prepackaged with....

DL Coach O and DB Coach Raymond???? Is it to our advantage or detriment? I know it was cool with Steele, but is he the exception rather than the rule?
Coach O about to get paid.

And if he's not promoted, look for his salary to double.

"Steele leaving good or bad?"
Fabulous, just fabulous.
Fabulous, just fabulous.
re: There are Pro's & Cons to Steele's Departure, but the 1 Reason is.....

"which is......?"
Miles is a lame duck coach. You can't blame any coach for looking out for his own best interests and apparently Steele feels he has more years with Malzhan than the very possible 1 with Miles. The Miles Factor will obviously be something LSU has to overcome in it's pursuit of a new DC.

YOU MORONS KEEP SAYING THIS. LES HAS NEVER LOST A NON-CONFERENCE GAME
Most non-conference opponents have been cupcakes. Thankfully, we've won those games. We just haven't been dominant or particularly impressive against those inferior teams, up until last night.
So chill you silly little unenlightened dimwitted sunshine pumper!
Geaux Tigers!!!

LSU FINALLY did not play down to it's competition, and statistically, at least, did what any above average SEC offense should do against a completely inferior opponent.
And that, in and of itself, is an improvement.
