The sad thing is that if smart, driven students went to community colleges before 4 year universities they would likely do better and make more (certainly be in less debt) than if they went straight to a four year university. They would make better grades their freshman and sophomore years and would be able to get into a more prestigious university if they so desired.

However, average to below average students are more likely to fail if they go straight to a four year college. Four year universities require more independence and obviously cost much more. Although I did all 4 years at LSU, I took some community college classes. Community colleges offer much more hands on guidance.
I tend to believe he will just sit in jail for the rest of his life. If he wanted to he could move for a change of venue. It will be literally impossible for them to sit a jury given the size of the county, the publicity, etc. If they get a change of venue there's a possibility that he gets the death penalty. However, the longer it takes the harder it will be to try the case given the evidence, witnesses, etc. Maybe he will get out but I don't think it will be any time soon.

Video kinda made me reminisce about TM.

Amazing highlights.

I don't know what is more amazing, TM or the fact Arkansas was #3 in the nation
I wanted for us to be #1 so we would play in Atlanta and LSU fans (including me) could have an easy trip to cheer on our team.

It's because he failed miserably as a pro coach. He's not saying he wants to leave bama for lsu

Exactly. Nobody said that he wants to leave Bama. The quoted poster said that Saban regrets leaving LSU. If he could do it all over again he would have stayed at LSU but given the circumstances he's happy to be at Bama.

evenSaban regrets leaving LSU

True.

"And I know a lot of LSU fans think I left for whatever reasons, but I left because I wanted to be a pro coach, or thought I wanted to be a pro coach. We loved LSU. We worked hard to build the program. If there was one thing professionally that I would do over again, it would've been not to leave LSU." - Saban

THAT’S the biggest difference between LSU and Ole Miss. we can keep a coach if we strike gold (evenSaban regrets leaving LSU).

This. Right. Here. Is. Hilarious.

Saban himself has said this multiple times. Saban regrets going to the NFL instead of staying at LSU. Now he hasn't said that he regrets being at Bama rather than LSU after his time at the NFL but that's not what was said.
I wonder what Woodward’s opinion was on that situation?
Hahahaha :geauxtigers:

Marcus Spears has been waiting on this for awhile
Pregame is one of the reasons actually going to a game holds value, it can be argued watching the actual game is better from a tv broadcast

Replay of game

Another one of the aggravations with cbs games are the lack of replays. Luckily I found the game on you tube here LINK

Campus watch party

What do y'all think the over/under is on LSU putting on a watch party at the P-Mac? Hopefully this conversation will help get our minds off of the Divinity situation :banghead:

re: Question about Tiger Stadium

I would think lighting and better sound would be a priority upgrade.

THIS. The sound system is the area that the stadium needs the biggest upgrade. I also don't want to block the facade of the north side of the stadium. If I was in charge I would fix the PA system, update the concourses even more (including doing something with the dorms) and then possibly get a bigger screen. The one thing about a screen is I don't want us to have huge pillars on the north side of the stadium like we had in the south before the expansion. I believe in the future the upper decks will be renovated to be more of a lounge/deck and decrease the capacity.
I believe one logical solution to this so-called problem would be to make law school have pre-requisites other than having ANY undergraduate degree. I believe to many people end up going to law school because they graduate and don't know what to do next. I do agree with the previous posters that mentioned that the problem fixes itself. There are a lot of people with law degrees that do not practice law.
People don't think Louie's has drinks but they actually do. This realization was a game changer. LINK
Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure y'all will) but I believe that Ole Miss had LED lights in their stadium before Georgia
Bill Burr and Tim McGraw are celebrities who have been in the news recently for their love of LSU. Also they are different from the usual LSU celebrities people think of.

Austin LSU takeover

Posted by MagnoliaStateTiger on 9/8/19 at 5:26 pm
LSU always travels well but our presence in Austin was impressive to say the least. My hotel bar ran out of Miller Lite and another bar I went to was having to send employees to convenience stores to get more alcohol. My hotel bartender said that this weekend was crazier than south by southwest. My Uber driver also said that he’s been Ubering for 5 years and this is the busiest he has ever seen it.
Great weekend. The team and the fans did their part. Geaux Tigers

Unfortunately State fans have never had the pleasure to be “present” for a national champion team historically, in the present, and probably not in the future.
