Peyton Houston, is he a QB or a ATH?
You got to pull for a kid like that!
I ran across the All-State selection thought I’d pass along…. There were several 3A, 2A, 1A but they hard to project in those lower classifications but some names to note..

2027 Recruits
5A All-State
TE Ahmad Hudson, Ruston, 6-7, 230, So.
ATH Peyton Houston, Evangel Christian, 5-11, 185, So.

4A All State
DB Rontrae Carter Shaw 6-0 170 So

Brown, Bradford, and Anderson all have a great shot at getting that five star status. What’s a little unique to this class for the state of Louisiana is that there are some big beef in it. Normally Louisiana produces those long lean athletes. They got some big boys in this class.
Berymon and Chapman are #14 and #15??? Put the crack pipe down and stop evaluating talent….

Have they figured out where Lamar Brown projected to, OL or DL? We have got to keep Big Rich Anderson committed, not many kids are 1st team all state and defensive MVP as a junior in that classification.
My inner jerk wants me to ask “ Can either one punt the ball?” But you bring up a good valid point.

Yes he has pass blocking down pat! Now let’s work on that push in run blocking
Well as a Junior he was just named the LFCA defensive MVP and first team all state. That’s 5A classification, he’a a baller for sure

Nuss’ lack of development during the three consecutive losses is what started the wedge in the relationship. I do believe the money was the icing on top. Combine with being less than an hour away from home. To be honest with you it was a smart move for both parties, being LSU and himself.
Do we, LSU, have any athletes that have entered the portal and return back to the team? I really can’t think of one off the top of my head. I imagine there’s some sour grapes between the coaching staff and the student athlete, I mean the moneygrubbing athlete
New recruiting strategy, pick up all you can from the high school ranks, spend money in the transfer portal. At least in the transfer portal, you know what you’re getting. These high school kids, especially on the deference of an offensive line can be misses.

How much eligibility does he have remaining?
Money talks, and bullshite walks, well at least with the elite players that’s the truth
I hope that he lands back in the purple and gold, but I hate that we prioritize Louisiana kids who gave LSU the cold shoulder. Just like any job applicant, it should be the Best applicant

I think the sky's the limit for him. Seams grounded with a good work ethic, he still has some development since he's new to the game. But I think he will be a good one.

He would be DT 1 the first day! Experience size and skills put him on the team now.
