It's impressive. Roughshod? They won all three last weekend by one run and have 7 one run SEC wins. May need a different adjective.
Texas has...

20 saves in their 37 wins, meaning they've won over half of their games by 3 runs or less. They have SEVEN one-run SEC wins. While that's really amazing, I don't see it being sustainable through June. Hope we see em in Omaha.

It was just a statement from a non-biased party. We're having a great season and should threaten to make Omaha. However, Milam, Brown, Curiel, Shores, Anderson, Schmidt, Larson, Rizy, Noot and Josh Pearson are all young dudes who are contributing already and if some juniors return, we'll be a really tough out next year.

True. He was basing it off of the bulk of this current team being fairly young. Obviously, Johnson will add pieces.

I spoke with a Royals scout who has and will attend a handful of LSU baseball games this season. Not to temper expectations, but he thinks LSU will be the team to beat in 2026. Baseball is a weird game, and you never know, but he does this for a living.

Curne will have to ramp up the intensity. Arkansas high school football is not the same as Louisiana, Texas, GA, etc. and he dominated because he was physically superior. That's about to change. He certainly has the God-given tools that you just can't coach.

Wait...what? 2? I went to the one in 2006. Did I miss something?

I was in college up in Arkansas and my Dad called me and said "this guy named Chris Jackson scored 48 in a loss to LA Tech. You need to check him out!" LSU had only played a couple of games before then and no one really knew who Chris Jackson was. That weekend I was with some frat buddies and we tuned in to the LSU game in Gainesville. I was really hyping Jackson up and hoping he delivered. He dropped 53 in a 111-101 win over the Gators. Good times. I sure do miss the days when LSU basketball was relevant.

Totally concur. Favre got a ton of coaches jobs throughout his career. #evenrayrhodes
